Wondering what which is going to be the better of the 2 modification. Im looking at doing a full trick flow CAI (elbow and intake tube) with and SLP air foil, or putting a set of pacesetter longtubes, ORY, EGR delete, and magnaflow cat back with a cut out. I have also thought about gettin a set 1.6 roller rocker. I believe i will need to change the springs for that though. What will i actually gain from each one.

Headers and cat-back.

Cold air and foil will give you some. But not as much as freeing up the exhaust.

I'd do the full exhaust and skip the intake stuff. Maybe find a 1LE or TF smooth intake elbow to get rid of the resonator if you want some intake noise.

exhaust for sure...

and am i the only one that is scared of those airfoils...

A few times members of the corvette forum showed pics of screws backing out and getting sucked in... the damage to the cyl...the walls etc is crazy.

Automatic or manual? If an automatic, I'd opt for my first mod to be a converter. I know people who have dropped a full second off their 1/4th times on stock cars (TBSS, Trans Am, etc) just by putting in a better converter.

could always buy a TB with the foil built in, thats what I did. I honestly didnt see much of a difference with a foil on the factory TB anyway. I also would recommend a higher stall converter it can make a world of difference. You can also do the TB bypass, super easy and cheap. Cant really say how much of a difference it makes though, but keeping air cool is always a plus

Plus one for the converter. Although while you're at it do the long tubes too

I say that because they are sooo much easier to install with the transmission off
