Angry Bird project update

Well, its turning out to be as people always say. The deeper you dig, the more crap you find lol. I started sandblasting a small rust spot on the back of the wheel well, when I noticed some paint bubbling near the middle of the drivers rear quarter. so I started grinding... and didnt stop until there was no more filler. Long story short, I will be replacing the quarter panel. Also looks like I'll be redoing someones hack job repair on the door as well. Oh what fun! Check my album for more pics.

Was that dent filled in with filler?

It was about 1/8 inch of fiberglass filler, with a layer ofof the filler plastic filler on top of that. I posted a pic in my album of the filler.

As of this weekend I will have fenders, side skirts, and hatch off, and interior gutted as well. My crate from TACreations should be arriving monday/tuesday with my fenders, absorber, brackets, splash shields, drivers rear quarter panel, and drivers door shell (badly damaged from being hit and hack job repaired). I cant wait to start the metal work and fit the 98-02 front end parts. picked up my 99 Firehawk front bumper cover for $60. Needing some repair of course, but I'de rather repair this one than spend $500-$600 on a perfect one.
