View Full Version : removing rear sail pannels?

does anyone know how to get the rear seat ancors out I need to take those out in order to remove the rear panel to access the hatch struts it looks like theres a torx head but dosent seem to want to budge.

Its a torx T-47

Edit: I had to use a 18 inch braker bar on one of mine to brake it loose. Other broke loose with regular rachet. There in there tight.

I don't rember having to pull the seats out to change the shocks. I just pulled the carpet back out of the way. The studs were covered with a little pice of white foam.

Ya same here, just pull the carpet back a little and theres a tiny wedge of foam you pop off and your top of your shock is right there.

I thank he is talking about the struts for the hatch.

I recently did mine and didn't have to completely remove the trim. I just pried it back until I could get the socket in there. I also had to use a good sized breaker bar.
