Did you happen to datalog any runs? I'm thinking that to lean out my dads camaro that I had to go negative in the fuel tables. I wonder if in the staging lanes your coolant temp dropped and put you in a different fueling map?? Just throwing ideas out

This is correct. The numbers will go towards zero and then into the negative to go more lean for each RPM block.

But if I remember right, you had the car dialed in pretty tight with the cc503. I wouldn't expect the fueling to be that far off.

well i didnt have afr issues with the cc503 but today i added VP C12 race fuel cause i was spraying on this new motor just to be safe and after i added the race fuel it was wayyy off and couldnt get datalogger to work right and i broke throttle cable twice and its cold out so i wasnt too motivated today lol

I am sitting at 14.0 cruising and right at 12.8 WOT on the track as of last week.

would the race fuel cause the afr to be that far off ?? surely not

Hopefully it was just the race fuel giving you problems. They have a test and tune next Sunday? We are about ready to take dads car to the track and start dialing it in.

I hope to do more tuning on it tomorrow. What should a stock headed cc306 car run??

A stock headed car is going to be pretty close to what yours is running now. I would suggest you turn it a little tighter for a few passes and see if it doesn't pick up some mph. My TA had a 306 in it for a long time and only had a mail order tune on it. Never got a chance to dyno it though. What are all your mods? Don't say in your sig lol. I use tap talk and it doesn't bring up sigs. You definitely want the afr's in the 12.8-13.0 range all the way through the rpm. I wouldn't be shocked if you squeezed out 8.0-7.9's@85 1/8th. Mine ran 7.55@89 in the 1/8th and 11.94@112.26 in the 1/4. But it hooked like crazy. 1.567 best yet 60'.

Long tubes, stock internals, 4000 Yank, 3.73s. I have gone from a 13.8x down to 12.96 with only tuning over the last three weeks. I will have to see what my 1/8 mile time was on that slip...
Got 9 runs in tonight at Gulfport Raceway. Instead of posting all of them as usual, I am just going to get the best of the night and a new personal best. Put myself out in the first round of Bracket breaking out with this run.
NINTH RUN:
RT : .577
60' : 1.76
1/8 ET : 8.19
1/4 ET : 12.96 (NPB)
MPH : 102.69 (NPB)

you should be running mid to high 7s at around 90mph. That 3.23 gear may be hurting you. A cam the size of a 306 really needs atleast a 3.73. I was running 7.7s @87 with just boltons.

I'll make you a hell of a deal on an ls rear with 3.73's!!

I ran my car untuned a few weeks and only got a 8.74 out of it. I was spinning and my 60 ft on that pass was a 1.96 and mph was I think 75/76. Basically same mods just a smaller stall. Aluminum elbow, stock air induction 52mm throttle body, 1.6rr, lts, to a flowmaster on bias ply's. Stock m6 rearend, and turbo 400 swap.

Son of a biscuit!!!!! He's hauling on nitrous!! I guess my question is if I can hook should I be in the 8.teens? Just did a base map tune tonight on it. I'm real curious if it'll happen now. Gonna have to hit tbe track tuesday night. Does the op have any suspension work done?

Hmmm....... ok thanks. I don't think me just tuning it will pick 0.6 but I may be surprised and actually get a good launch with lower tire pressure. Ill let you know come wednesday morning weather permitting
