Hmmm rare color?

So I know the cayenne red is rare on the camaros but I dont think I have seen a Trans am in that color. I did a little research and it says its med red, but that doesnt seem right. Here is the link to pics of the car. Might have been painted to I guess.

Im going to assume it was painted looks like the taillights were. and correct me if im wrong but arnt those wheels from a later 4th gen?. If not that thing was extremely well maintained

Can't tell for sure but looks right from what i can see as color wise goes. Although I think its a repaint as well

A guy local had a cayenne 97 trans am. I was going to buy it until he tried drifting in a Walmart parking lot and screwed it up bad. Let's just say when your sliding and the passenger side turn signal comes in contact with a concrete light post.

I have the same car year and color. Medium Patriot red Mettalic. 1995 T/A
Camaro's came in that color as well. GM discontinued that paint color after 1995 and then brought it back for the 98-02 F-body's.

And I have the same rims on my car, 16" 5 spoke and they were factory. Says ABS on wheels.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I guess thats why it said medium red on the site I was looking at.

Looks like the car has definetley been repainted, and the paint they used doesn't match exactly like the factory color.
I am getting my TA painted in a few weeks and the paint thats on it is factory and it has a metalic flake to it.
The car your looking at looks great inside and out, but definetely no metalic flake in the paint job.
