will do. lift is deff in the plans no doubt 4 in suspension and 3 inch body was the thought don't wanna make this one too too high. paints the first priority, still deciding on a color. someone shot out the idea of purple not on this mean machine hahaha.... any thoughts?

I like the blue granite and silver 2 tone. I really like 2 TONE on the 73-91 trucks, blazers, and suburbans.

PLEASE don't put a body lift on it, they look cheesy as fuck! Go ahead and put 6" springs on it and be done.

i love 2 tone too. I just saw a blueish gray 73 the other day it looked sexyy agreed body lifts aren't as nice as suspension. but a small one you cant really tell. its the tards that put so big of a body lift you can see the whole frame of the truck.i don't really want to go more than 6 inches its a dually, unless im putting semi tires on it hahahaha

IMHO, Anything over an inch is cheesy and dangerous. I've seen the extended bolts on a 3" snap and send the cab flying. Before the quaility of the Kit is questioned, It was rancho, when they were actually a good name.

id probably look into skyjacker or rcx haha well see how it looks painted mabey nothing! hhahah I have to pick up some 7.5 inch pistons and some headlamp fluid to finish it off lmfao

12V Cummins for a box style truck. Easy swap and they can make killer power for low cost!

It looks straight and solid. I think it's got the makings for a bad ass truck!

thake618
03-06-2013, 10:27 PM
its what im hoping for the only bad thing is i cant go any bigger than 35inch tires because they don't make anything to fit that wheel bigger. and for the 2-3k it will cost to make it work ill sacrifice the 3 inches

very cool. looks like you got a great project on your hands. I know lifts are the popular way to go... but I say drop it like its hot.

Would totally agree, if it was 2wd. It has to go up since its 4wd.

I agree. 2wd goes down, 4wd goes up. Although I think my Silverado SS would look funny lifted.
