Thanks everyone, getting a feature in GMHTP really is a dream come true for me!

And yes thats the golfcourse at the Holiday Inn in BG, all the pics were taken directly after the race (as soon as the rain let up that is)

And the acc bracket is from speed inc, not sure if they still sell them, I bought it back in 2009...

It made 451rwhp/434rwtq the only time it was on the dyno, which is when we did the baseline tune for the new 392ci engine, with zero miles on it, and I had the valve lash set very loose (.030ish) while it broke in. This was quite a conservative tune for break in, very little timing in it.

It hasn't been on a dyno since, but the valve lash is where it should be now (.012) and the rings have had time to seat, plus the tune is a more aggresive now.

So, if I had to guess at what it's making now, based off of 124mph trap speed @3550lbs, I would guesstimate around 480rwhp/440rwtq.

Huge congrats Collin your car is truly worthy. Iv'e always wanted a feature for my car along with probably a million other people but this should motivate people to come.


I don't know if people are aware of this but GM Hightech has selected a feature car from every LTX shootout Larry H, Charles, Collin ,Tony S so you see your odds greatly increase by showing up to this event.

And I am very thankful that gmhtp chooses to cover the event every year and feature cars from the event every year, I sure hope that never changes.
