cold air intake question

so i recently purchased a k&n off a memeber and am very pleased with it however, my car being a 3.4 it dosent have that mass airflow sensor were the lt1s is. when you buy them online they come with a extension tube. mine didnt come with it. anyone have an idea or an extra laying around?

Yeah, I just made mine out of some tubing. Now that I think of it it's probably bigger than 3" but you can measure your opening to make sure.

Or just get a "dummy" MAF to throw in there if of ant find the plastic K&N pice.

It's for the AIR pump supply. If that's gone, just cap it off.

I still have the box my K&N Filter came in and it has odd ball pieces that I did not need in it,
I believe the plastic extension is in there and the plug if your not using the smog stuff.
You are welcomed to it. I will check it out in the morning when I get home from work.
