First time doing direct deposit for tax returns? how long ????

I have always just waited for a cheque to come in the mail.

I was just wondering how long i can expect this to take by doing it in this manner? I a mailing the stuff out on Monday.

usually when i do it, it takes for ever to get to me. and this is like the first time i have ever done it this early.

It gets deposited pretty fast. I know when we efile. we get it in about 5 days.

The federal is pretty quick, the issue I have is with state. Mainly the state of Louisiana which should be self explanatory.

I e-filed on the 31st and got Federal on the 8th and State on the 11th.

I went through h and r block did it on a Saturday and my fed was in my acct on wed. And state sent me a check I got it 2 1/2 weeks later I just deposited my state yesterday

Took about 8-9 days for me, I did them on my phone with turbo tax.

i got my state back on the 7 feb
and it looks like i should get my federal on the 21

I use Taxact and usually it takes around a week but here believe it or not the state is faster then the fed, hard to believe the socialist state of Kalifornia is more efficient then the federal government when it comes to giving money back.

Tennessee doesn't have a state tax. But like everybody else says bout 2weeks or less.

i have to mail my shit, because i am canadian. i can not e-file!

either way it sounds like it is pretty quick once they receive it.
