oil cooler

What do I need to delete the oil cooler stuff. Im sure there is residual metal in the lines and radiator after spinning rod bearings.

You will need to remove the oil cooler adapter on the block, remove the two studs that hold it in and cut off the smooth portions of the studs (it will be obvious when you get in there if it sounds confusing).

Then either plug the port on the water pump and radiator OR pick up the oil cooler bypass hose found on all non-oil cooler cars and install. Done.
