This thread here is to see what we started out with when we first started to drive. So i guess i'll start..
I had a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. It had a 318, 727trans, 3.23 open 8 3/4 rear. It had a small cam, 360 heads, 4bbl on a 340 intake, JR headers (they hung low and snaked evrywhere!) Factory ralley wheels, EB5 Blue with black int and top. It was a very nice car for a first car. But remember this is when prices where low for these cars and one could afford one. I always took care of my stuff and my parents trusted me with this car here. I never wrecked it or really acted like a fool in it. Most of the time i putted around, kept it clean and took it to local car shows.

So what did everyone else start off with?

Ill have to dig up pics.

1994 grand am se 4 door. loved that car when the HD took a crap after a year in the sandbox I lost all pics of it. wasn't fast enough to do anything stupid but still faster then my buddy's mustang lol. Had a decent stereo and blacked out windows and the 17 in "stock" rims. great little car doubled as a pickup when times called for it.

Cool to see another AMX owner. I had a 1970 AMX 390 4spd with Go-Pack. The 390 broke the crank in half (No it wasn't an Eagle lol) But got redone with a 401 crank. That thing would MOVE!

1995 Dodge Neon 4 door 5 speed. white then primer ... that car took a wicked beating ... i went mudding with it a few times and had to have my dad come pull me out. wound up blowing the motor ... piston and rod #1 were in the oil pan #2 had four holes from the valves in it #3 has some light damage to it and #4 looked brand new
lived that little car ... i learned that you have to give a new clutch break in time before hammering it ... 5 clutches in under 10,000 miles (shortest one only lasted 753 miles)
i would install the clutch pull out to the street and rev the car to 6k and dump the clutch i was young and didnt know much about cars at that point but i know how to do burn outs good.

My first car was a 70 Nove SS 350/4spd, but I never got to drive it, the first Vehicle I drove on the street was a 71 Vega GT with a 327 and a saganaw 4spd. I still have it. LOL I spent 7 years restoring the Nove and it,the truck, and the trailer were stolen from a resturant in CHerokee,NC on the way from Rod Run.

C1500 truck with a 305 small block. It wasn't fast but it got me through the winters in farm land Ohio. And that thing was tough, if I wasn't slowing down, it was floored and never gave me any trouble.

When I was 15 I bought a 77 Camaro. Drove it for a few weeks then decided to fix it and paint her yellow before I turned 16. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/02/07/enapysu2.jpg
