I am looking a buying these rims:

and want to know wich tires i need. So far i have figured out i want atleast a 275 in the front at atleast a 295 in the rear. I know the rims sizes, the only thing i am missing from the equation is the aspect ratio.

I assume i should have atleat a 26 inch tall tire?

Stock tire size comes out to 26.6" tall.
I figured some numbers for ya and found the 305/35R18 is 26.5".

Stock tires are 25.65" (245/50/16)

275/40/17 are 25.66"
295/35/18 are 26.12"
305/35/18 are 26.41"
315/30/18 are 25.44"

315/30/18 or 295/35/18 are absolutely better choices.

I am running 275/40/17 in the front, and my rears are 295/40/18's and I dont got any rubbing problems at all with my daily.

315/30/18 or 295/35/18 are absolutely better choices.


Thats my bad. I inserted 245-55-16. 25.6 Sounds much closer.

245/50/16 are stock z28 tires. if you didn't get the Z rated tires from the factory you got v6 tires. 235/55/16.

Its been about a year since I had the salad shooters on the car and I never looked up sizes or prices for tires for those wheels. Was trying to go off memory, but failed.

It's been about 2 years since I've had 16s. I've never had to buy tires for the truck, yet I know what size are on it. :confused:

i'd like to see pics of those wheels on your car once you get them on :cool:
