Bull, SWAT already has armored vans, they don't need shit that can stop an RPG... And did I say anything about bullet proof vests? No. Police grade equipment in our cities is fine. Military grade needs to stay in the possession of military. That's my stance on it. Can't have stories of crooked cops abusing the power of military equipment if they don't have it in their inventory to begin with.

And before you say it, I'm not saying all cops are not to be trusted, but even you can't deny there are far too many stories around the nation of police abuse of power. To prevent more shit happening, it's easiest to just not give them overpowered stuff in the first place. SWAT has always done perfectly fine with the vehicles they have now. They don't need military equipment.

And yet it's so common here that they're calling for FBI to investigate because the Dallas PD can't be trusted to honestly investigate their own. You may not see it in your town, but over here there's plenty of it. I have a good friend who lives in Miami and it's even worse over there for him.

Some of you may have seen this posted on my Facebook... but it really made me feel good... so I wanted to share it more.

Many of you know, I handle the sexual assault of children cases for my PD... (some adult ones also, but all of the child victim ones).


WELL...HERE.


What a great change of pace today from my earlier status. Only minutes ago, the door bell rang here at the PD. I went out to find a father and his 5 year old son who I will call "A." When I opened the door, Dad said to me, "A was good today, so he asked if we could stop here so he could see the Police." I asked "A" what it was that he wanted to see, and he looked up at me and said THE JAIL. I told him that the jail was somewhere else, but how about a police car? He was excited. I first let him and his dad stand in front of it, while I ran the lights and siren. I hit the loud siren, and I think dad may have pee'd a little. "A" laughed and thought it was funny. I then let him climb in the driver's seat, and showed him which buttons he could push, and he worked the lights, and the sirens himself. I then showed him where the "bad guys" sit (in the back), and he was scared to climb into the cage. He then started asking me about the equipt on my belt, and I showed and explained everything to him... Finally his dad said, "I think the Police Man needs to go back to work" (reminding me of the SHYT I was working on, but the kid made my day with his next comment). He said, "I wanna be a Policeman, and I want to work HERE, with you." I gave him a high five, and told him to come by whenever he wanted,. but he had to keep doing good in school... Thats it. — feeling happy.

Looking used 5kish bringing down my debt to income so I can buy a house, not that I was bad off at all. But just getting rid of the v cleared up almost 350 a month between ins and payment. The car loan did boost my score around 50 points though so that was good.

I had the same problem when I bought the V. Waited two months for it to pop up and I wasn't even looking for it. Same thing I was looking for a 97 lt1 car or ls car.

I want a 4x4 f250 or 2500hd. If I can't find one I like I may just buy a vic or escape for less than 3k and just keep looking.

Received all of my door/sail speakers last night. Ordering sub and box over the weekend. Alpine Type R for the sub and Alpine 6.5's all the way around. Kicker KX850.2 running 2 ohms to each voice coil should make for a rattlebox like none other. Big 3 upgrade when I do the amp wiring.

Put some Xtreme rims with Hankook tires on my new DD/ wife's winter beater. I know a lot of people don't like tires that stick out but I'm slowly working it towards an off road look and eventually the 2wd rims will help achieve that lol

Well, after almost 15 years of being a die hard Motorola fan, I've finally left the pack. My RAZR took a swim last night and needless to say, it's done. 2004 Fx4 5.4 good ole 210k miles, bought it from one of my techs so I know its been taken care of and hes already replaced the two piece plugs and timing chain guides so itll be good to go for another 200k hopefully.

Already has a double din aftermarket headunit in it, factory sub and tint so saves me a bit of money for stuff I normally due the first week I buy a car and hes giving me a extra set of wheels tires along with a leveling kit he didnt get to put on.

My coworker was actually going to buy it last year and drove it up to indy and back for his brother in law, then they didn't have the money, then he was going to buy it for his daughter then his other wrecked her car so.. Now its mine, going to pick it up on Sunday since I was traveling this week.

Got wife a new ride today. Dodge Journey SXT. Dual front and rear climate control, navigation, 3rd row seat; Keyless entry, power lift gate, Bose audio, 3.6 AWD.

This is the one we thought we was buying. But got a call saying they quoted price for identical one with premium wheels and Bose audio. So they knocked 750.00 off price and gave us 3 free oil changes:)

Yeah ill keep it more stock. Doubt she will drive this one since she has more room in the Journey. That's the only reason she drove last one. Plus she hated it's huge blind spot.

I will be getting a 2015 Charger SRT scat-pak. It's basically a srt 394 with 4 piston instead of 6 piston. So it will only be around 40G.

It gives people like me with a family that needs a 4 door. A chance to own a aggressive looking car. With 475 HP on tap, on the fly suspension, transmission, engine adjustment. From cruising to performance to all out racing. And amazing braking performance and great handling.

The new gen offers way better interior comfort over the Mustang or Camaro.

These sxt and RT are no match for the SS or GT. But a SRT will eat a stock SS or GT for lunch. And allow me to take a trip with my family in a comfortable ride.

Lol, good point! I've got a '68 R/T Charger. I just don't think they did the exterior body styling justice. The Charger was one of the toughest looking rides ever made, imo. It just doesn't look like whoever is driving it is on their way to go kill somebody anymore. lol

That '71 is awesome, especially with that six pack! That's my favorite year for the 'Cuda.

It was actually horrible in those cars. Made a crazy loud thumping noise with wheel hop and oversteer but the power to weight was great and I never cared if I blew it up.

Picked up wife's new ride today. I got to say it's nice. 285 horsepower with AWD. 19 inch wheels, 120 volt outlet, 4 12 volt outlets, crap load of storage. Even has a built in cooler. And the stock alpine system with factory sub hits pretty good:D
