One of the BIGGEST problems people have with your posts ^^^ You ended all that with an exclamation point, but COULDN'T put a single period in 2 paragraphs worth of run-on sentences.

Ugh, finally got all Christmas shopping done today. Now to con my mom into wrapping it all for me lol. That also means the following paychecks finally start going into savings, which means mod money, which means January here I come. :D Just put some newer sun visors in my TA tonight. Guy on FB was selling a used pair in much better shape than mine, so one more thing crossed off my list. :thumbup: Only things left to fix in my interior now is get the headliner redone, find a new non-cracked dash pad, then replace the seats (driver seat has a minor tear, but I want Corbeaux A4s anyway). Also on the to-do list is install the new double DIN Kenwood head unit and back up camera Monika got for me. Feels good to be past the car payments!

nope, working on the ac for the switchgear in a room. even though its 30 degrees out, the switchgear puts out so much heat and it has to be a dehumidified room to prevent arc flashes. otherwise, switchgear would eat itself and anyone in there. i worked on the switchgear substations for trains in jersey city a few times, once the room goes over about 90 degrees, plus humidity, electricity starts doing CRAZY shit. i was happy i was in the truck cooling off that day.....

Oh yea the heat generated off that stuff is insane. I love working on refrigeration jobs. I really enjoyed service too, only downside to it is if you're there, chances are its because equipment isn't working and its hot as hell. I remember working in a cell tower control room and both units had failed. That room felt like an oven. I'd trade a stinger for a set of gauges any day though.

Just tickle the second stage lights. The car has about 12in of total rollout before the tires expose the beams if the tires stay on the ground, but if we keep upping the nitrous shot and it pulls the tires up over the beams we might have to delay some more.

It always spins on a good run, I need to get some good runs during the daylight so I can shoot the front of the tire from the side and see how well it is planted.

I went to start my truck to go to school and the battery was dead (only 4 months old) no biggie, ran next door and got my neighbor to jump me.

Now, I've had a slow coolant leak for a year or so now, and I thought it was the reservoir tank just has a small crack. Its not a huge concern because I would just top it off every 3-4 weeks and it didn't burn it that I could see and no coolant in the oil. Well today I got a huge step in the direction that is probably the cause of my coolant leak.

Symptoms are no contaminated oil, no power loss, but a slow steady leak. And those exact symptoms are signs of a cracked head which is apparently common on 4.8's and 5.3's

So I'm going to take a look into it tomorrow and if they are cracked I'm going to probably put some 243's on it, get it tuned and call it a day

are you seeing any change in temps? any high temps? any gurgling in the heater core?

If you loosing coolant it could be a lot things, could be a bad heater core, bad head gasket, cracked head, leaking hose, bad coolant cap, leaking weep hole in the pump. I had a bad head gasket in my OBS gmc 5.7. I never saw coolant or anything oil contamination or anything. the gasket went back by a outer port and just leaking and must have just turned to steam. I know the old 350's and 305s in the truck were notorious for bad head gaskets. I dealt with coolant leak in my camaro that drove me up the wall and it turned out to be a cracked jug but it only leak like once every two weeks.

No I don't think this is extreme. Larry made less mistakes than Anthony and Larry had the best interest of the site at heart where as Anthony used it for whatever the hell he was using it for. I said my peace in the topic I had deleted. I said they both need a Cooling off from each other. This is not the way to run a forum. You don't take it's biggest cheerleader and slap them for trying to keep the bs to a minimum. He did not put it over at the other site. The Facebook is an extension to the site. The gang mentality of the ppl that jumped on the bash Anthony bandwagon also disappointed me. They all were gracious as to remove or allow removal of their comments. By banning Larry even temp, you send a message that the person that caused the drama can prevail in the long run. I am disappointed on many levels here... this is not what we are about. Even though larry should or could have dealt with this better I have known Anthony from other sites in which he was viewed the same way. Having met both people involved(in real life) I am qualified to say that Larry is the most upstanding guy I have met in a long time and that Anthony has flaws but is deep down a good kid that needs to keep learning. Now we are getting into highschool shit... fuck it .. I'm going to bed. Hopefully I win the mega millions and I may have a fresh perspective in the am.

One final note of clarification amd after this Im not dealing with the topic till/if he gets banned.

I did not jut come out and attack out of no where. What u all do not see is many many pm's here and previously on fb (before i personally blocked him) that went thru the range of force. From friendly hints to ultimatums at the end advising him to knock the bs off and if he wanted to remain a member of the site to go thru and remove his bs posts and threads. He ignored the "advice" and rather blasted me here saying i sent him threatening pm s. No threats were made other than an unavoidable ban in the furute if he did not correct his ways.



I did not delete all of his threads, rather I removed threads that contained his bs to a section we have for removed threads. I dont want his lies and bs fake threads in the public eye...not do i feel he deserves to make money selling his stuff here when he cant follow the rules.

What u all saw was the spill over...it went on for to long and I had enough. I do not appologize for popping...and I do not appologize to him. In fact he still has not been banned here because we ban as a vote between the admins and it just has not comebup because i had hopes that the kid would straighten out.

The moment he posted on that other site... I chose to never aknowledge him again...and thats the way it will be for me. So no appology from him will be responded to by me.

Thats a brief 6am explanatio as to what u all saw and anyone that knows me KNOWS i would do anything to help ANYONE out... and this site and its members are a priority ti me...but He sunk that ship

Casey, I hate to put my dirty laundry out here too but there is a lot of support here. I have had a hell of a year, and though I am not considering divorce, I have had a similar struggle with my wife since she lost her job. We are both stressed and there has been a lot of fighting. A lot of it over her wanting to do what she wants to do come hell or high water. All I can say is be good to each other the best you can over the next 2 months. It is a 2 way street son if you feel like you are going to pop, take a breath and count to 10. My situation is getting better. It takes time and patience with each other. We both see a counsler and it helps, but until my wife is working and the other stuff with her previous employer is over, the stress is still there. My 2 boys see it and I hate that they do. My thoughts are with you man..

Thanks guys sooo much, the other day I got really depressed to the point to where I started thinking of suicide but I have a straight head and strong will power and reminded myself that I will be hurting more ppl than myself and my boys popped in my head and that changed my thinking real quick

You could always go back or come alil south. Lol. You'll be that much closer to the OC cruise but technically you cant carry there either.

I've noticed that cashiers at stores aren't doing their jobs and IDing people. You are supposed to be 21 to buy any handgun ammo, but when I go in they don't even ask for a drivers license. I mean...I'm not complaining because it would be a hassle, but it would be nice if they did their job
