well, today i got news and im not sure if its good or bad or how to take it. i have been here at my new base for about 2 months now and since i got here i have been running the Light shop and Body shop, but today i found out that on Monday they are moving a Tech Sargent over to take my NCOIC (Non-commission officer in charge) position pushing me back out on to the shop floor. now what i am being told is the move is being made because as of now there are only two fully trained guys in my shop, my self and on other and there are 7 young mechanics that are still in there upgrade training and with me filling the NCOIC position there was not much time for me to help with there training, so i am being put back on the shop floor to be the main trainer.

i was told that the move has nothing to do with how i was running the shop and was actually complemented on how well i did being a younger Staff Sargent, but it just sucks because it would have looked awesome having NCOIC on future performance reports.

so im not really sure how to take it.....

I have all the production figures for the cars. And go as far as keeping track of some of the rarer ones. So I know if one is lost to a wreck or something.

Im going to go order the custom sealed/UV protected frames for this stuff next week.

I hunt for this stuff for some period of time each day.

That is the rarest of all the hawks. And actually car #26 of the 92 Hawks. Is actually the highest factory horsepower one of all 10 years. And highest horsepower f-body since the f body big block hay day.

It was conservatively rated at 400 HP. But the info available puts it around 430 HP!

And 3 of them got the 366 cid aluminum rodeck block. 26 was one of them but it was swapped out for a 383 cid aluminum rodeck engine.

I wasn't joking when I said I loved these cars. Its my holy grail of dream cars. Kinda an unofficial historian of these cars. lol

Take it simply like this you were given an opportunity and you excelled at the position but you are not "technically" in the rank structure to hold the NCOIC position for an extended position. It was more of a trial by fire and you excelled but now that they know you have the potential they are laterally moving to pass on your knowledge and skills to the mechanics that have no real experience other than schooling and by you showing that you can lead you are now in the teach the teacher position, at least in the army that is how the skills and knowledge are passed down. If you are looking to make this a career military you can now be the liason between the lower enlisted that need the grooming to be like you and when you have the time and grade you will either be the NCOIC right hand man and the learning curve will be less steep for you. If you play your cards right and help the NCOIC get settled he will be in your corner for the performance evaluations and can work to get the your E-6 as soon as you are eligible. Instill your traits in the ones beneath you and work to be eager to learn from the tech sgt. If you are truly good at what you do you will have nothing to worry about and your performance will be noted. I have been in a similar situation here where I am. I was put at houses where the staff either didn't do their job or they would fall asleep and by me having a higher standard to strive to I got noticed. It wasn't always good but it was always legit reasons and they slowly got fixed or the staff causing the issues got eliminated from the company. Then in the past year, I have been put under the wing of 2 former supervisors and they have said that I am now up for the Asst supervisor since the current Asst supervisor has got busted sleeping and smoking pot on shift. I have a reputation and in all reality that is all you have in this life. I make people toe the line and that is not appreciated but deep down they all know it is what is right. So simply put make sure the people under you toe the line and not only will you look good but so will the NCOIC that is being put in charge and you will get more merits for doing it that way then getting pissed and think the world is out to get you. THIS IS NOT A DEMOTION IT IS AN OPPURTUNITY... MAKE THE MOST OF IT. from the day i got here and took the position i new it was only going to be temporary since i am an E5 and there is a E7 in bound in Dec that will be taking over the shop, but i have been tested and accelerated at what was thrown at me. so who knows, but now its time to move back to the trainer roll.

this was not my first time running a shop, i have had quite a few chances in my career so far to fill positions beyond my rank. this was actually my 3rd NCOIC position and i have also held the shop Foreman position.

Found a decent winter vehicle for Angela (https://www.facebook.com/angelina.fantasy?directed_target_id=0).... and they only wanted 3k for it!!! Fired it up...NICE. no smoke. Carpet and interior, needs a good detail. Then we started looking closer... mirror control knob, BROKE... Driver side window, goes down, but switch is busted, cant go up... Took it for a drive, jumped on it from a stop...trans thumps floor from dead stop and bumping gears, but pretty quick (guessing trans mount)... Noticed under window sticker on windshield, glass was cracked.... opened moonroof, sounded like it was struggling, then made crunching noises... front bumper needs repair and paint... and finally, oil smelled and looked ok...BUT, when removing oil fill cap, evidence of "chocolate milk".... JUST A REMINDER: "if it seems to good to be true....(you know the rest)"

He had a few others but I came back amd proved how little he knew. He quit responding. But PMed me and said the LT block can't handle boost and falls apart at 700brwhp...... proved him wrong then pointed out the water pushing issue of the LS1.

Actually I was thinking about building a whole other setup based off my l99 mock up engine. I think I've lost direction with what way I want to go with the Monte. I had a great time at the track but I originally wanted a street car. Turning 3k at 55 with damn near open headers is not enjoyable.
I'm considering putting the entire engine/trans setup into the nova to continue r&d on the m122 project.

Oh yea. My dad bought some sticky tires, traction bars, and a mini spool for it and the plan was to throw nitrous to it and make it a track car. That's why I was considering dropping my whole setup in it. They are light cars, if we can get it hooking it should be pretty fun

Yesterday we went back and turned in our application and put the deposit down, so as of November 23, we'll be moving into our new place and finally on our own! :D We're both excited because it's a really nice complex and area, and best of all: attached 2-car garage! And management told me they don't care if I work on my cars in there, so all is well!

Ok so today the wife txts me and says it's about the Camaro call me ASAP, I'm freaking out bc idk what happened to it, so i call her and she says the neighbor told her that there was a red Toyota parked in front of my car today for about 30 min and that they got out and was looking all over my car under inside through the glass and EVERYTHING, so I'm wondering if they're planning to steal her or what's gonna happen so tomorrow I'm going to talk to my corner neighbor who has cameras and have him point them at my house and watch my car for me untill I can get her fixed and into storage, bc if something happened to my car I will be beyond PISSED. And the thieves or vandals or whoever are gonna wish they would have never even thought about it.

Hold down on the screen where there are no icons. You should get options. Pick SHORTCUT or WIDGET, then it will take you to tapatalk.. then there, choose LTXtech.

I made a quick little adapter to bolt an lt1 throttle body in the place of the ford one on the m122. I'm going to experiment with the tb upstream of the supercharger. If it works like I think it will, it should provide better part throttle driveability and more of a variable boost based off of throttle position instead of the "on/off" it currently has. Also going to drill and tap the water pump heater ports and plug them off.

Karma is freaking awesome... so going back to my break in I knew it was involving the ex's bff and now new info has surfaced. She was so in debt to her dealer that he drove her out to bfe with a gun to her head then stripped her all but naked and left her. Guess she had to walk 4 miles to get to a place to call her mom for a ride. All this happened the day or 2 before I got hit. So she is hurting for cash. I got hit then conveniently enuf her car got "stolen" after the work location got hit and I guess there was 2 stolen TVs in the back of the car. Then her ex hubby's house got hit. So fast forward to this past week she got fired because she admitted to being involved in it somewhat to a person at work so the COO called her in and fired her saying we don't have staff that associate with ppl like that since we work with at risk persons. Well Friday night I worked with her ex's bro who knew what happened and he showed me the fb page of the idiot who pawned my ps3 and dude left his # up for all to see in a comment. So today I am talking to the detective and giving him that # and see if it was my TVs recovered. But all in all the bff is looking at a min of 5 years for being at least an accessory to 3 burglaries and I am willing to bet she will roll on my ex if they offer a plea deal. I love how what u sow is what u reap or what goes around comes around.

I try to explain to people to ALWAYS hit the deer if its not 100% that they can avoid it without hitting something else. Comp being no fault is way better than collision which will most likely asign fault if hitting something else while avoiding the animal.

A funny statistic that I was taught in crash school was to accelerate through a deer to cause it to clear the car, rather than land on the windshield and hurt the occupants of the car. I had a fatal accident once, where the deer kicked the driver to death through the windshield.. It was horrible.. BLOOD everywhere.

had a great day at the dragstrip today, ran the olds like usual.. it ran good but had a 35 mph wind blowing right into the car head on, was going 11.40's and it's having a fuel delivery issue. Car wants to nose down at the eigth mile and runs out of fuel pressure, only when the air filter is off it, but it doesn't do it when the air filter is on. Got to drive a friends 66 chevelle today to, Jesus the car is like a fucking boat going down the track lol! little old black 97 trans am showed up at the track that said 10seclt on the license plate ;) went and bullshitted with him for an hour, wish he would join. it was a nice car. 6 speed, 388 cid, edlebrock heads and intake and a good sized hydro roller cam with full suspension and a 11.1 motor and it was running 11.30s and has easy 11. teens in it. has a single nozzle set up and it's going to see a 150 hit threw it.

Well this night just went to shit.

My dad called me asking if I had talked to mom, I said no. Asked where he was, he said next door with Ed (grandmas husband) and said that grandma was at the store and passed out. And my aunt and uncle were luckily at the same store, so they took her to the hospital, she passed out at the hospital.

I don't know anything right now except for she is having heart issues and will most likely be having a pacemaker put in.

oh how i hate UPS! 10pm and still have not gotten my package that was guaranteed for today...worked with the shipper to make sure it would be here today since i'm bouncing back and forth between my house and the field. just got off the phone with UPS and they claim that its still going to get delivered tonight....

Take it from someone who has a pacemaker make sure u check on the Dr doing the surgery. Mine almost killed me because it was put in wrong. Make sure they tell u that they attach the leads completely. The bottom lead wasn't implanted right and migrated to the top of the heart and was 1/4 of an in from short circuiting me. Do ur research and make sure it is not a model that got recalled. If u have any questions pm me and I will shoot u my #.

Boss was being a dick, he has been trying to find a reason to fire me for a while, he did not like me AT ALL, he says that I don't listen, I can file for unemployment but I have never done it before and I'm not sure that I can afford to pay the taxes on it come income tax

I have been applying almost everywhere got a pretty good chance at a couple places but I have to drive over an hour to get there, idk if it'll be beneficial for me to drive all that way

thats not how it works man.. you can have taxes removed just like you were employed, so that you dont have to worry about it... in fact, if your good enough, you can even get a return... lol

Im gonna start with the opti. Ill know soon as it starts if its right. If not...ill put the obd2 computer in to see what ses light trips (i could start with that...but im being a rebel).

If nothing there and there...and still issues.... then ill swap in the new pcm ...but Im pretty sure its the opti. The more I read and think...thebtiming sounds off on the car...so we will see.
