Still runs and drives. Guy said his son bought it 3 weeks ago, got drunk and was driving in front of the house, hit a planter in the front yard. Airbags deployed, busted the windshield, and buggered up the front end pretty good. I'm going to go look at it tomorrow and see if I want to try and take it on. Just found out tonight I'm going back down to Kentucky for work again. This time for 8 weeks. So that paired up with trying to get the Monte and dads camaro ready for the shootout, it might be a bit too much right now.

If I can get one for $500, paint would be $200, figure another $300 for misc.... that's $2500 in a $4500 car. 2k profit is enticing, but it will only delay other things. I dunno. Second, is it a 4500 car with those miles on it? I so, I think you can find a nose cheaper than that if you go used.....may even locate a black one.....

I just dont know if in town driving that is all that bad... i cant rmember what mine used to do stock.... I now get 9.5 in stop and go cruising traffic...lol.

That's the weird part, no other SES codes. Just the vapor can one which I just cleared earlier. Yeah I'm 6 speed and skip shift plenty of the time and keep the revs low when cruising.

Stock 3.42s, and no I originally had the stock WS6 rims on it with kumho tires 275/40/17s, replaced those with the C6 Z06 replicas, but same size as the original wheels 17 x 9.5 on all four with same size kumho tires again. Now I have BF Goodrich tires on the back 2 after the alignment, but they're the same size as well, just a tad bit stickier but not by much.

Yeah, I feel you. Just went for a test drive and picked up Dairy Queen. The gas smell is nowhere near as strong now, but I can still smell it faintly when I get out of the car. Guess I'll start checking fuel lines for rotting or something.

On a side note, got to see the aftermath of a car that lost control speeding down a residential street and went into a house...

Yeah, nobody was home. Two guys in the car, both walked out, both arrested lol. Suspected drunk driving, obvious speeding (30mph limit on this street...). They went up a curb, killed another person's mailbox, killed the street sign on the corner, back into the street, up another curb into that yard, and into their game room. The rest of the wall above the car fell down when they pulled the car out with a wrecker. I feel so sorry for the homeowners when they come home later to find that...

Well I was very hesitant to come on here and comment about it because other people did buy and receive from him. And packages do get lost. But if I recall correctly, it was the lack of communication that prompted me to open the claim, and make it public. Had he of stayed in contact with me, it never would have escalated.

Had I not have contacted him, or not returned his messages, even though the package was damaged by ups, and it was on them, he would have been well within his right to raise hell on here about me. Agreed, and remember he had an excuse for everything.. he had the tracking numb but it was at home.. then he would get it "tonight soon as I get home" then two days later I would follow up again... and nothing... nahhhhhh, I still dont believe him.

Well when I put the center section on I had to literally beat it on and it didn't seal right around one of the bolts and is leaking so I'm gonna take it off and reseal it and drill out the holes

Good morning LTX. Ah what a morning... Wake up just in time to watch a pretty big storm roll in as I'm getting ready for work. Make it halfway to work and Monika calls to tell me her passenger side windshield wiper flew off on her way to class. I told her to pull over into a gas station and wait. I turn around and go catch up to her and find that luckily the windshield wiper was stuck between the windshield and hood as far to the right of the car as it can get, but not lost in the street somewhere. Put it back on and tell her to follow me to O'Reilly's since this is the 2nd time it has happened with these new wipers I put on just a couple months ago... On the way to O'Reilly's it flew off again and she had to get out of her car at a red light at an intersection to grab it... Then she catches up to me and we make it to O'Reilly's. Thankfully the guy working was nice enough to swap out both blades, no questions asked, no receipt, no charge. Then Monika remembered that we had bought those at AutoZone haha. Oh well. Made it to work an hour late, but hopefully nothing else will go wrong today.

Lol best part though was the guy never even asked. I think showing up right after they open the doors for the day is the easiest way to get shit swapped cuz he seemed half-awake still and just wanted to get us out of the store ASAP lol. So he made it happen :D

Go buy some otc chewable sleeping pills... they are just enough to knock you out... you can fight your way through it... and after about 2 hours, they have worn off, so either your are asleep under your own exhaustion at that point...orrrr... you wake back up.

I used to have that same problem, million ideas running through my head and insomnia to boot. I found focusing on one menial task for a while helps sleep set in, like playing solitaire, watching a TV show, or something repetitive. Also, if you're into techno, that helps me calm my mind, dump if it'd work for you. Repetitive rhythms in drum and bass and trance generally stop my mind running 100mph and let me clear my head.

Finally feeling a wee bit better. Done making 15 minute runs to the can in horrible pain, but then again, have not had solid food since yesterday.

This whole thing was kinda my fault. For those that are familiar with what hospitalized me last year... I was put on a medication that was to control it.... well it was like 80% control.. the rest had to be dealt with, or handled through dealing with it, and correct diet.

Well I was having small relapses for the past few weeks, and I called the Doctor. They had stopped making the med I was taking and the new one was not cutting it the same... so he prescribed me a NEW med... so my impression was to replace the other med... so I stopped the old med.. and started the new one..

By doing that any bit of control over this issue that I had was lost, and yesterday it all became way 2 much for me... I left work early, and called the Doc... he explained that I was to suppliment the old med.. not replace it.. so Im back up to 12 pills a day of the one med, just to try to regain control plus the new med......

Then going back to inlaws house and play phase 10 or some other board game all weekend. Sounds awful to me.

2 owner

New water pump, alternator, CAT, idler pulley, brakes, condensor fan and a few other things I am forgetting. Clean interior with the normal driver seat tear. 161k miles. No trans work, no replaced head gaskets, no jerry-rigged mods.

Needs a headliner (Hard top)

Needs a paint job eventually. No dents, body damage or rust.

Talked it down to $1200 and picking it up tomorrow.

Man today was a great day! Finally get to wear shorts and sandals to work cuz of the hot weather. Today we also had a big cookout at work, so another guy and I worked the grill while some other people helped set up and one woman made banana pudding in the break room. Cooked up a ton of burgers, hot dogs, and chicken. Also had watermelon, sea salt chips, tea, and all the fixings for the burgers and hot dogs. Chefs always eat last, so of course I got to customize my burger :) Montreal steak seasoning and sweet mesquite seasoning on both sides of all 3 patties for my burger :D

rear mail bearing seal has deciding to start leaking oil I am almost positive but will find out tomorrow lol I know its not a pressure switch valve covers, intake manifold, its too low. its running down dripping on y pipe and burning. lol

Hey Chris, did you see where the district attorneys in 2 counties of southern Illinois said they would not prosecute any citizen that chooses to carry a concealed weapon if arrested for it? I guess they were pissed that Quinn keeps stalling on signing that bill. Pretty epic.
