He and Chad Littlefield were murdered on Saturday, February 2, 2013 by a struggling marine that they brought to a gun range in Texas to try to help and blow off some steam. Kyle had a history of helping struggling veterans. The struggling soldier turned on Kyle and Littlefield for unknown reasons. We will keep updating this status with more information as it becomes available.
