The rain groves are not deep enough to channel the water away from the tire when new. The water cools the tire down and glazes them a little if you go from dry driving into a down pour. It'll be like pouring oil on a regular tire. Just be careful, the width of the tires we run and the weight of our cars are not the best for wet driving in the first place.

Well under partial throttle I can go to redline smoothly. As soon as I go maybe half throttle it breaks up and the rpms drop to 4k as the filter is new and the pump was known to be good I'm assuming injectors stuck or regulator. Hate fuel issues.

I would suggest going to a non chain store. I got mine from a small appliance store for $1100 for fridge, washer and dryer....nothing fancy but they get the job done.
