Mine fills the old casette storage area... its not really a switch panel, although it does house the switch the changes my horn button to my line lock.... and back. It also houses the dial to set the RPM for my pillar mounted shift light , as well as a large face Oil Pressure guage, for added security.

Here's mine. I only kept the cigarette lighter because I wired my garage door opener to it.

So far i am only needing 4 switches. WP,Fans, line lock arming, fog lights.

Im moving my momentary line lock switch to my grant wheel. I can't stand it on my shifter. With it being a short throw. and how i hold onto the shifter it makes it awkward

Is that the 6LE panel? I am thinking of moving mine off my pillar to this area, but I have 4 gauges (Oil, Fuel Pressure, Wideband, and Voltage) and I was going to move my lighter into the glovebox. I think I can get 4 in the panel if i cut up where the lighter used to be. Also where you get the CAMARO Z28 radio bezel?

It is a 6LE panel, yes. I have two more gauges as well, but they are in a mustang style pod on the dash. I like being able to have my fuel pressure and wideband within eye-site. I don't think there is enough room to get more gauges on the 6LE panel. As it was, the two barely fit in the right side of the "cubby." You'd have to cut away some of your dash (the vertical separator between the cig lighter and right side) and I'm still not sure that would leave enough room.

The radio bezel is from humount.com.

Mine is made from the inside sheet metal from the gas door of a 1985 Chevy Pickup, with a piece of 2.25 exhaust welded to it and cut on an angle to mount the guage.

i flip it one way, and my horn button is my LINE LOCK... and no horn.
I flip it the other way and my horn button is my HORN....and not my line lock.
Its just a switch to change between the two...the steering wheel horn button is the activation for either.

Got the idea from my drag bike... I had a switch that would make the horn button either the horn...or the air shifter.

Oh that's slick. Light turns green, let off the horn

Im 6spd , so its just for the sake of easier burnouts... but you get the idea.... and it makes it much easier to control on the wheel, with my thumb..., and I have never been a fan of that coily cord around the column....

Im 6spd

Oh yea. But I guess it would work for launch control on an auto car too

That coil chord=Race car. lol

That's the route Im going. But Im also installing a grant wheel. And horn Button isn't convenient. But that's a genius idea!

Thanks man... yes, with the stock steering wheel its great... would not be so great with a center horn button.

I'm using that swith panel in the radio slot. I have bottle warmer, bottle on, NOS arm,tail/brake light kill, and LP switch on my panel.

Soon as I get it out of storage, my nos switches will operate the Meth injection.

Swapped to a 97 console, this holds a Spa Techniques dual Fuel Pressure/Boost Gauge, Line lock switch, secondary switch for a intercooler fan, and Alky Control Meth injection controls.

Jim Thelen, a.k.a. Beer99C5 from CorvetteForum.com did it for me. We were in cahoots a while back when I was offering them through my business. He hooked me up. Does outstanding work. If you contact him, tell him Sean (Fastbird) sent you.

These came yesterday and wanted to post. Emblempros.com. Nice fit over the junk collector and lighter and price is the best part. Can be made for back lighting or labeled.
