I searched and didn't see this specific issue up on here already, and I already searched on BFranker about the free head light fix, but here's my issue:

My passenger side head light now won't raise, but I don't hear the typical grinding noise as if the gear teeth have been stripped. In fact, I don't hear anything at all coming from the motor over there and had my dad stick his head next to it while I turned the lights on and off to raise and lower them and see if he heard anything either, but nothing. Now, I'm pretty sure that if the teeth had stripped, I'd hear it grinding away and I could just spin the gear 180 degrees like BFranker suggests. But if I hear nothing, then did the motor itself die on me? Is there something else I can check to verify it's possibly not the motor? I already checked the fuses and they're all good.

Get you a test light and make sure the motor is getting power, if it is, the motor took a shit. But, I happen to know where a pair of good ones are .LOL

Man, I just have one stop shopping with you :jest: I'll go out and test them tomorrow, I'm about to pass out in my chair right now. I just went back to BFranker's site and read through his thing about common head light problems and there's a few things there I'm going to test as well before I call it dead. I'll let you know if I end up needing those motors or not.

Woohoo! I'm glad I went back and checked that BFranker site last night some more. Turns out it had just gotten itself stuck, I guess. After manually raising it, it's working completely again, both up and down. :D Gotta love those 15 second free fixes!

I'll leave this link here for anyone searching for issues like this in the future:

I would have suggested that but I didn't see the thread in time. Had one on the formula that would stick if I didn't use it in a couple days

I guess I'll have to start keeping a look out for it sticking now. Didn't have any trouble with it at all up until about a week ago. At least I also learned about using the other unused half of the nylon gear in the motor before shelling out for the aluminum gear haha.
