For anyone around the DFW area, a friend linked me to this coming up:

We will have food, drinks and tons of free prizes & giveaways.
We will be awarding trophies to the Highest HP Turbo, Highest HP NA, and lowest HP cars of the day.
Dyno runs are $45 for 3 pulls."

ALL makes are welcome, so if you're looking for a cheap way to hop on the dyno, this is as good as any. Chime in if you're going, I'll be there!

im gonna try and be there with a 96 S10 408 LSx T56 swap. should be in the 450+ range at the wheels. guess we will see. lol

Cool! I'll try to keep my eyes out for you in the mix there. You'll probably be able to spot my car pretty easily, should be the only black TA there with red blackbird stripes and wingtips :D

And it's too bad you're not closer, Larry. I'm betting that your Camaro would easily be the strongest car there. Most of the cars at these car meets I've been to are primarily imports, mostly owned by teenagers and kids barely in their 20s (save for the GTR owners who sometimes show up).

Maybe not by your standards, but to all these import nuts, it would be lol. Hell even by my standards, any 600 HP car is a beast.

AWDTuning just updated saying that NiceBurgs will be catering the event and the first 200 people to show up eat free. After that, burger and chip combos for $5. Looks like I'll be trying to show up extra early LOL

Holy hell, there's 345 people saying that they're going on their FB page so far. It's gonna be PACKED! I'm thinking I may show up really early to try to beat the line for the dyno... like 9am or so haha.

Seems to be holding up just fine still. Maybe I was just imaging the slipping in my head or something, idk. Ever since the fuel pump got replaced, I haven't seen any issues with it yet, so the smell issue was probably the gasoline being sprayed out the cap and as for the "slipping," well, I got nothing to explain that. I'm just a paranoid fool I guess lol. I'm still keeping money in the bank just in case it does go out, but at the moment it's running perfectly normal.

:( I understand, just had to go fill up my tank and premium's up to $3.79 here now... Wtf happened, it was only $3.29 like 2 weeks ago..

My guess isnthe load bearing dyno is gonna show u if its good or not...real quick.

Well I've been heavy footing the hell out of this past tank of gas after the fuel pump swap and everything feels pretty nice and tight. My gas mileage is even going up, got 15.25 mpg average while driving like I stole it :D so hopefully I should be able to get much closer to 18 mpg average in city again like when I first got the car lol. Time to go give my baby a quick bath and get in line for the dyno! I'll let you know how it goes :)
