1995 camaro light issue

hey guys i am new to the form and am having a small problem that dosent seem to be affecting anything but i would like to know thw source of issue so i can fix it.

the current engine in my car now is the 3.4 i am planning to swap it out soon. i am having an issue with the service engine light coming on while i am driving. it does not affect anything it just comes on. i got it down to noticing it comes on mainly when you step on it and then back off. i havent had access to a computer yet and mechanics are here for the money these days. if anyones had this problem let me know thanks!

If its coming on and going off and not affecting the car most likely its an 02 not sensing in the acceptable range at times. Can't be for sure until the codes get pulled though. Oh and welcome did you make an intro thread?

the light normally does not go off only a few times has it went off.
