I am wanting something fun, fast, and can haul up to 5 full size adults. I would like a 9C1 or SS B-body, but can't find a 9C1 or SS that isn't ragged out or priced in the nose bleed section.
So, what about one of these?
http://huntsville.craigslist.org/cto/3484546741.html
Thinking a big inch stroker, Turbo or twin turbos, just to do something I haven't before, 6 spd manual swap, and suspension goodie, to make it handle less like a brick on jello.
What's your thoughts?

I love B-body wagons, but around here they are getting to be way overdone.

I'm not interested in that particular one, I just posted it to give an idea of what I was talking about. I got to finish up some of the other projects I have now and get them sold, before I move onto something else.

With my line of work, I get vehicles very cheap, I fix little things, give them a detail and tripple my money. I then turn around and buy things I like. I just got a 07 roadking Harley for 4100.00. Sold it in 3 days for 8500. 4100 back in car fund, 4400 in play fund.

Actually, most of the time its .25-.50 cents on the dollar, if they need a little work. Sometimes, I have to pay the payoff ,but very seldom.

A long time ago...i had a friend that did repos..and he would ask me to go with him when he went into "scarey" places...it was usually non eventful..especially if u knew how to treat people with respect and could just talk to them...rather than bully them.
I thought bout buyimg a truck with the remote "stinger" towing unit ... But their expensive...lol.

That is the key to being a good repoman, I've only had one problem in 13 years, it wasn't about the car, it was about the drugs in the console.

Man I love buying and flipping cars. Even if I don't make a killing I like the satisfaction of saving a car from the scrapyard, especially fbodies. How does one get involved in the repo industry?

In HS, my friends step dad bought a wrecker company. It came with a repo truck. I played with it a little, wasn't old enough to drive a wrecker or repo truck, fast forward 8 years, I was building cell towers, dating this girl, she got tired of seeing me 3 days a month, I quit(I know, I know). I saw a repo truck at the gas station, I asked the same question you just did, he gave me his boss' card, been doing it ever since.
I don't come across many F bodies now days, but the money I make off other vehicles, help save as many F bodies I can.

Let me rephrase this, My wife doesn't like me buying something that can't move under its own power. Plus if you can't play with it every now and then, you'll get bored with it and it will never get finished. I got a project that I have never driven, it's been took apart for 3 years, its stalled and doesn't look like it will start again anytime in the next year.
