Does anyone have a stock ( or LT4 Hotcam) AFR tuning numbers. MY car is running rich as hell. I know there is more to the tuning process but I am going to be getting a dyno tune within the next two months so I just need something to get me by. I have the rest set up for the car. Specs for what I have...
30lb injectors
383ci
LT4 hotcam
Pacesetter headers
and a few other odds and ends.
As I said, I just need something to get me by. I can't get the fuel trims right. I have tunercats and use it consistantly to do things of this nature. If your wanting to see my .bin file, I need someone to tell me how to unlock it to where I can see it to email or post it. I can't figure it out. I can adjust things on it, but not email/post it. Thanks guys.

How did you figure out whether or not you had a 383 over a 355/stock cube car?

According to the tune. the original pull and the one Six Sygma (now out of business) made, the car is set up for a 383. The dyno curve shows stroker with were the peak power is made vs. a 355. and I made more power then a 355 with an LT4 hotcam. with high compression too. so that makes it to where I have to guess its true for the 383. but I cant be 100% till I pull the oil pan or heads.

Which table of information do you want? I have a few hot cam tunes.

I need :
%change of AFR vs cool. temp. at WOT
% change of AFR vs RPM at WOT
What other tables would I need for the AFR to balance out enough to where I dont wash out the rings? I am going to get the car tuned with my tax money.

These are only going to address WOT AFR. Make sure the injectors are changed. That is the biggest thing to worry about. You can add a bit more timing at idle to clean up a rich condition there.

Are you running open loop or closed loop? Did you adjust the injector constant to match the 30#, and are they rated at 43 PSI? Also, did you adjust your idle up?

The table is set for 30#. They are the ford/bosch ones. And umm... i dunno...

I dunno about the loop. The idle has been adjusted multiple times.

Probably best to wait for dyno tune then.

tarheel, Since you already have a laptop and cable, do you have TTS Datamaster EE, download is free for 20 logs. A 5 minute datalog from a cold start to warmed idle and maybe a short stop start around town run up would help see whats happening, no need for WOT run. If you could post a log and a copy of your .bin. We could maybe see what things look like and what could be the cause. As mystery says Dyno tune is the way to go.

yeah I am waiting on tax returns to get the dyno tune. I read up on the injectors. how do you determine the correct flow rate at 43psi for a 40psi injector? I have datamaster. and I need to figure out how to unlock the tunes so I can upload them. They locked themselves and I cant figure out how to unlock them.
