But vin doesn't do us any good unless you confirm it with a registry. The rpo codes will tell the truth. See if she can snap a pic of them and send it to you.

Its the white sticker on the drivers door with the three letter/digits on it. Well there will actually be alot of those on it. It will tell you how the car came from the factory option wise.

SLP said some 94 did get the ws6 hood. they was making them before ws6 option was brought back by GM. That's why i need to see if its the original one.

It was in a hard enough impact to destroy the original front clip and split the hood. Which on top of that now brings into question if body was tweeked.

That's sad. I would never put my kids in a v8 4th Gen to start with. I understand why my dad didn't give me anything that nice when I started driving. I wore my first cars out. My ws6 was like my baby. Always taken extreme care of. The two I have now when finished will be garaged and driven on nice days. They will be run hard but will be taken care of.

there was just a firehawk up this way all original that went for 4500 it was a clean car too the rear bumper had cracking in the paint. and the wheels could use recoated, but it was a true hawk according to the vin lol. I was surprised to see it were im at.

Not sure why it won't sell is it a turd in person or somthing these cars are old now you have to expect them to have been wrecked or even just repainted and some flaws have any of you actually looked up the blue book on it. If anyone wants a spotless low mileage car that's spent it's hole life in a climate controlled bag you are going to have to pay way more than $4500 i actually know a guy that has a firehawk in a bag it's crazy the car only has 800 miles on Hahaha what a waste.

Plus the engine will need a rebuild soon. its leaking oil.

I want to preserve and enjoy a unmolested/wreaked Firehawk. Not do a rebuild trying to source a original hood. lol

Ok test drove the car earlier and inspected it, the shocks are shot, hood is not a ws6 hood, hood is not the one thy cane with the car but is an OE fire hawk hood, car has great power, interior is magnificent except for the controls in the steering wheel there are two buttons missing and the dash has a crack in it, the oil leak it has is the seal behind the opti (is what he told me) hard to tell without jacking the car up, whoever fixed the car did an awesome and I mean awesome job, headlights are good everything works he said the gears were replaced with brass ones, Trans shifts great.

He said he got it direct from GM. You couldnt but the hawk hoods from GM. That was a slp only deal.

Slp sells replacement parts through GM provided they show proof that the original part was damaged. That's probably why slp knew this car was in a front end collision, they provided the replacement parts.

Maybe so but that's still a ws6 hood regardless. Both came from slp and even if that was the factory hood it's not a specific firehawk hood. The firehawk hood is rounded with smaller openings. The "ws6" hood was used on comp tas, ws6s, and apparently some firehawks. If I got a firehawk it would have to have a firehawk specific hood personally. I know a couple years ago slp still sold the firehawk hoods but not sure anymore.
