I just wanted to share w/my ltx family out there, that I finally got engaged after dating my high school sweetheart and best friend for the last 11 years. Now i get to kick back and let her do all the wedding planning stuff lol. I did tell her that the last weeknd of August was off limits for the big day too lol... Actually she already told me we would have a spring wedding so i dont have to worry about that.

Congrats!! Women seem to have fun doing the wedding planing stuff! It can get kinda stressfull so make sure you offer to help every now and then. Do not to settle, you'll get all these people trying to offer suggestions on how to do things just remember it's your day so do what you two want! Also prepare for the cost of everything to triple just because you mentioned "wedding".

Haha no problem. Thanks everyone. I def agree on taking your time and not rushing it too. It was def nice to go through college and then moving to another state and not have the extra stress/pressure to get married mixed in with that. Its crazy to think that after being w/each other for so long I had the ring for about 3 weeks before I got the courage 2 ask her lol

Sadly our goal is 9 years. After that it should be smooth sailing lol. And Larry is right its a family curse, no one in my family can stay married for more than 8 years.
