Too much like an inport sports car for me. That look is fine when it's on an imoprted sports car but not a Camaro. GM spent all that time redesigning the 1st gen look into a modern car, they shouldn't throw it away!

I kinda like it... you gotta imagine every time a generation change was made , there was a big change that had people saying..."that dont look like a camaro." but here we are with a 5th gen... lol

Everyone seemed to dislike the 5th gen at first (and some would argue - many still do) but I agree with where Larry's coming from. If you want to see a bunch of *UNOFFICIAL* photoshops you can check out Camaro6 on Facebook - but whoever is running that page is pissing me off because they post basically any of photoshop they find without giving any background information or disclaimer about it being a photoshop. It's misleading people into thinking they're actually concepts and the backlash at GM in the comments are frustrating to see. They even posted Sangyup Lee's drawing of the 5th gen dated 2005 as if it was a 6th gen rendering... :banghead:

Eeeeh, IDK on that Malibu one. The new ones look nothing like their predecessors anymore. They used to look like a muscle car, now they look like a little econobox. That's my only complaint with them though.

True - I never was a fan of the old Malibus so all I know them for is your average family sedan. In that token I think they look good. My wife had a 2011 Malibu that she leased and we just traded it in and got a 2013 Malibu Eco. I like the Eco with the regenerative breaking, auto-off, MyLink, etc... it's really a great car to drive.

Yeah - Holden had a few 4-door cars on the Zeta platform as well as the Chevy SS and the Chevy Caprice PPV all being on Zeta. The Alpha platform that the 6th gen will go on is shared with the Cadillac ATS and the Cadillac CTS is on a longer version of Alpha platform too.

My understanding is had the bankruptcy not occurred and Pontiac getting axed, there would have been a Pontiac GTO on the Zeta platform as well... and who knows, maybe a 'Bird would have followed.

I should probably clarify my post - I'm sure the 6th gen will look different, but what I meant was that it will probably be evolutionary and not revolutionary. It'll probably be based on the way the 5th gen looks, in other words.
