Ive been thinking and my frontmount 383 turbo build is going to take at least a year or more most likely 2 years
at my budget. I have my car running right now and the motor im building is in the garage and I wanted to be able to
drive it until I get most of the parts, then do the tear down. So Ive been thinking of putting my homemade sts style turbokit
that I had on my old 95z.But this time around get injectors and tune and not blow the motor in a month. So today I took off all the parts and pieces from the 95z
So I need blowoffvalve, used reliable turbo, used injectors and tune on the cheap
coldside

I didnt get a pic of the K&N,brackets, oil supply, return lines in the garage. The wastegate and flange need to be cut off the car and the turbo I couldnt find since I removed it before I moved. It was leaking oil in the coldside before the motor blew,Im sure that helped adding detonation, plus
no blowoff valve didnt help the turbo live.

I have been toying with a rear mount idea for a while now too. My motor is mostly stock so it would be low boost. I had a turbo awd DSM and am no totally inexperienced with turbos. EBay has a lot of cheap turbo kits. They are def Chinese knock off stuff but for temporary or low use I think they would work. There are t3/t4 turbos with waste gates, bov, and intercooler for around $600. Good luck with your build. I am going to keep an eye on this.

For injectors check out smart fire injectors on eBay. I picked up a new set of 60# for ~$240. There's also a company called "on 3 performance " that has decent quality turbos for around $300

You could also look into the Holset turbos. Those are fairly cheap (for a turbo) and can move a lot of air for what they are.

Ok finally got off work early enough to take off the "Hotparts" stock catback with turbo flange
and wastgate welded to it. I had to cut it right before the axle to get it out. I made it with a
$100 stickwelder from walmart and never welded before that so the welds look worse than dogshit.:poo:

This is the turbo and blowoff valve and pipe I found.

The turbo is from CXracing it is T4 T70 .70 A/R-.96 A/R Turbine for $250.

The blowoff valve is from wyntonm "ebay" with the flange and pipe together for $34

For Injectors I want to see if anyone can tell me what size I needed. Im thinking 30 somthing or 42#
injectors and 6# of boost. Im planing to take to a tuner where I live the closest I know is LeathalPerformance in SA.
I took my 01Z28 to them and had good results.

my guess is 32s would get you by... Id go bigger for room to grow, esp if your gonna get greedy for more boost.

on3Performance has a 76mm I was looking at to but I didnt want to blow the motor so quick.
This is just to get me by until I finish my 383 I have in the garage.Trying to go allout on that motor.
Easier said than done with low budget
