Maybe some of our OLD HEADS, can tell me who this is.

I used to love this video... and the song is PERFECT with it...

I used to watch it all the time for motivation..... but I never thought i would be a part of an LTX specific community, to be able to ask about it... and I slowly forgot about it.

Today, I found it posted by a member on the LTXtech fb page... and it brought my curiosity back up.... who is this??

Someone posted that they believed it was "Jim's old car.." WHO IS JIM?

YOU DA MAN!!!

Performance/driveability- The car is ultra-quiet and has excellent driveability due to the small hyd cam. It dynoed 855rwhp @ 6,000 and 869rwtq @ 4,300 @21lbs of boost through the SLP exhaust. This combination has ran 9.6@146mph through the SLP exhaust, and 9.7@149 through a 4in magnaflow exhaust at about 3,750lb raceweight. All accessories have been retained. ABS, power steering and brakes, airbags, and Air conditioning, are all functional. The dual fuel systems and staged injection allow long range high boost trips as pump premium is the primary.

I would LOVE to see an updated version of a build like this. Something I've dreamed of building is a low mount TT system like this.......they work so well. Piping is easier, no compromise, but it's EXPENSIVE. I think with more modern heads/cam profiles/tuning, this same essential TT setup would crack the 1K mark with great driveability. I say this because this build was done how many years ago? 10? More?

Yeah, I knew that. I wish I could get my hands on that turbo kit thought that was used on his LTx setup. I talked to Speed Inc a few years back when Jon wasn't able to do my turbo kit, but they wanted like $10K for the same kit.

Looking back at it, it's definitely a fair wx only driver. Look at how the air filters are sitting under the radiator support directly behind the air dam. Can't drive it in the rain that's for sure.

I so badly want to do a low mount twin setup.

CantonRacer bought Intimid8's turbo setup, he's since sold it but it's still in NE Ohio. The fella who's got it is working on getting the car finished and of course I told him he needs to make the drive down the the LTX Shootout in the fall. I think he said he has a username here, but mostly lurks. I'll email him and send him this link.

It sold for much less than 10k when it was for sale on CZ28 years ago.
