I just have no idea where to start.
I plan on deleting the A/C this winter.
I know that isn't going to give me the 400lb drop I would like.
How do all you guys under 3300LB RW do it?

Well are you wanting to gut it for racing? There will be alot of safety removed. Not to mention inside noise is increased.
Mine is loud inside but I like to hear the engine....

To start, get some weight off the nose by removing front sway bar and all brackets, cruise control, all emissions, and ABS.

Front bumper support, crash bar, wiper canister are close to 50lbs together.

^^^ like said above that's the cheapest route. and like mystery bird said get better weight balance. cut weight off the nose.
more expensive ways:
tubular bumper supports from MWC
tubular k member
tubular front control arms
fiberglass hood
race seats
cheaper route:
delete air bags(there very heavy)
these are some ways i reduced weight.

Lol the diet thing only works if you have will power. Me not so much lol. Also if you have a power antenna swap it out for a fixed one. Then all of the heat shields off the bottom of the car and the evap garbage.

Padding under carpet or swap for lightweight carpet. Heavy padding on firewall under dash, padding around shifter. Cut off frame horns that the front support bolts to. Cut off metal under front fenders and cowl. Remove wipers. Cut 2" holes anywhere meta can be removed. Remove unused wires in wiring harness.....

And if its for racing, install a dual exhaust that is easily removed at the track. 8 bolts and mine is off and an extra 30lbs...

It will be driven a lot in the summer, like 7,500 miles or so.
I am thinking:
Subs/Amp/Rear Sail/Stock Bose Junk/Spare Tire/Jack
Should all be about 200lbs.
The subs were cool in highschool, not so much anymore.
This winter, I will remove all the padding and try to remove some metal, where at though? I don't wan't to do it somewhere obvious.
I'd like to keep heat/air bags.
Is there a clean way to delete rear seats where it does not look like they're missing?

Actually, the rear seat area is still very useable as a seat even with the cushions removed and it is amazingly still just about as comfortable as before.
How hard is it to remove the ABS and what does it weigh?
