After reading Popo's thread about the F&F I started to wonder what was everyone's favorite car guy movie? Maybe list your top three. I think it will be interesting to see the list.

The Nick Cage "Gone in 60 Seconds" is up there. Ronin had some pretty bad car chase scenes. And I happen to be a fan of the F&F series.......purely entertainment.

Yes The Blues Brothers counts for sure in my book and agree on the other 2. I saw Vanishing point years ago and I am still convinced that the ONLY color for a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T is white.
Some cars only look good in one color in my opinion.

American Graffiti would have to be #1 on my list.

There are so many but
1. Two Lane Blacktop - love the 55 and the judge made me want one.
2. American Graffiti - I want that 58 imp so bad and the 55 in this was the same 55 in two lane blacktop just painted.
3. Worlds Fastest Indian - yes its a motorcycle movie but its a great and true story about an amazing piece of machinery and the man that built it.
4. Vanishing Point - there was a local guy that had a 70 challenger R/T hemi in white. When the new ones came out his son got a new R/T in white. They took them to shows together.
5. Original Gone In 60 Seconds - awesome chase scenes. My sister had a red 73 Mach 1.
I could go on but will stop at 5

I just saw Smokey and the Bandit for the first time a few years ago. It was pretty cheesy but good. I guess Gone in 60 Seconds too. I honestly can't think of any other car movies.

The Cannonball Run - loved all the actors and diff cars. Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo - childhood favorite. Original Fast & Furious - I was 17 when it came out and it was simply pure entertainment, flaws and all. None of these are great movies but they served their purpose.

I thought about dazed and confused but wasn't sure it would fit. Sweet emotion playing with the judge cruising the parking lot very nice lol

Hot Rod is a good ole classic with that 41 Willys gasser.I've wanted a 41 Willys since I saw this movie when it came out! http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u3/jdhawk93/250-HOT-ROD_zps81d491c4.jpg
Has any one ever seen The Last American Hero? How about Return to Macon County? The chase scene in The Seven Ups is pretty good! Bill Hickman (the driver of the Charger in Bullit) drives the 73 Grand Ville and Roy Scheider and Jerry Summers drove the Ventura.
