My 1994 Formula Build Thread! Going to be fun!

I bought my 94 formula on 11/23 for $2200.

It has some paint issues on the front fascia and hood, but everything else is pretty clean for an 18 year old car!

This car was well taken care of, it still has the original owners manual, and floormats! LOL

Over the next year or so I am going to build it up into an 11 second car n/a.

It is completely BONE STOCK right now, but I am going to fix that real soon.

I have already done an oil change, and I have removed the front firebird emblem for a cleaner look.

I also cleaned up the engine bay a little, just to make it look a little better for now. I will post some pics later.

Things needed to be done in the near future are:

1. Paint Front Fascia
2. Fix Torn Intake Elbow (perfect excuse to get an aftermarket one)
3. Remove Side Molding (looks cleaner without it)
4. Remove Formula V8 Decals (I want people to think its a V6)
5. Remove Radiator Support Stickers (clean it up and maybe re-paint it)
6. Remove Throttle Linkage Cover (its ugly lol)
7. Remove Muffler/Cat and run straight pipes
8. Remove Spare Tire/Jack (dead weight)
9. TB Bypass (free mod, why not)
10. Make or buy a CAI

I will update this thread with pictures and info on what I am doing, and I will keep you guys updated daily or every couple days. :headbang:

He sent pics of it to my email yesterday, and it looks really nice. But I cant afford it right now because I dont have a job. $40 is more in my price range.

That would be great!

I would rather have a 1LE, or a black aftermarket one, because I dont really like chrome intakes. But I will take whatever for now, because mine is torn.

Let me know, because I have $40-$50 saved up for one.

*UPDATE*

I ordered an intake elbow to replace my torn stock elbow.

When it gets here I will post up pics.

Also, I took of the side molding. I still have to get the sticky crap off.

I also found someone who is going to help me paint my front fascia for really cheap.

I will post up before and after pics when everything is done. Stay tuned...
