Long story short, those shit heads used an impact gun to bolt in the mounting bracket on the spindle. The threads are completely destroyed.

You just have to find the right shop. Ill use an impact all day on brackets.

As long as the bolt/nut is started by hand and the correct torque setting is chosen there's no problem using an impact if space allows. It's a bit lazy, but whatevs.

Twas a great day. Got the Buick back from the shop, brakes worked great for the first time ever. Then I made more room in the back garage for the car... Then I went to go get the mail. On my way back to the house I looked at the car.

What did I find? I found a fucking scratch on the spoiler performed by a fucking key that one of my asshole family members so happily put in it. Fucking Christ! These assholes shouldn't have even been at our damn house but they listen to nobody but themselves. These assholes are the same ones that through a fucking beer bottle at my grandpa's Corvette and put a fucking dent in the God damn fiberglass.

I just finished fixing the frame on my truck, had holes in the frame and swiss cheese cross members. also replaced all the hardlines with stainless while I was in there.....salt sucks. the roads are white up here, and not from snow

If you activate without being on the brakes, all you do is shut off the front brakes from master cylinder. So they stay open regardless of if you step on pedal.

Yeah, it sucks and it's a big headache, but now I'll hopefully feel like my $2k/year flood insurance is worth it. I'll get a partial remodel for small cost of a deductible and being out of my house for a month or so. The worst part is I'll be working on the house so much that I won't be able to do much with the car. I'd like to get the tune right and get the camaro drivable, but not until the house no longer stinks.

In our area, they like to knock to see if anyone is home. If you answer they ask for a random name and when you say you don't know them they go to the next house. If you don't answer they kick the door in and rob your house. If I don't recolonize who's at the door my gun is in my hand when I answer.

A couple months ago they (group of 5 high school kids skipping class) did it and a guy answered, then went back inside. They knocked again and then pistol whipped him when he opened the door. He drew and fired on them, hitting two before they ran into the woods behind the house. There was a fire fight between two of the kids and the guy. They ended up arresting them all. It's too bad he didn't kill any of them.

With True Street there are no weight penalties for 24x. It is true that we do not want changes to the tune during the True Street cruise and race. The idea behind that is we want to see the cars raced with the same setup they were cruised in.

I'm not sure of your setup but if you are serious about coming out to race, I am sure there is a class in there somewhere you would enjoy.

My ex's mother is like that. Had a easy 100k a year job managing group homes for mentally disabled, yet living in a small house she couldn't make rent on. She had a 24/7/365 "sinus cold". Bitch you walked out of bathroom with blow falling out of your nose. I mean cmon. Her and her cousin were doing it and fighting about it at my daughters 2nd birthday party, and my wedding. Wasn't fun. As a former addict (not gonna lie), I know exactly what it does to families, also dealing with my father, younger stepbrother, and losing my best friend last year to addiction, reinforced it.

You have to have your girl either cut her off COMPLETELY, I mean totally, or you're in for a constant headache. It's gonna be extremely hard for her to do, it took me 5 years of not speaking to my father or seeing him for him to finally get it.

Using torx head bolts when a standard hex would easily do. Went to add a spacer to my new Hinson shifter to bring the shift lever a bit more to the drivers side. Both bolt heads stripped using the proper sized tool. Tried 3 extractors with all of them breaking off in the bolt. Now I will need to cut off the heads with a little Dremel and hope I can clamp down on the studs to get them out. Lovely....

My wife's side of the family has a number of folks who have and are still dealing with drug issues. My wife's brother passed due to a heroin overdose when she was 15, he was around 25 at the time. Left behind his girl, 2 kids and 1 on the way. Now his oldest daughter is using and has been in and out of rehab. Really really sad. I haven't dealt with any of this directly but I see how it affects the family. Hang in there.

dawdaw, believe me. I know how you feel. My mother is literally a crackhead.
I got tired of her stealing my younger brothers' and my stuff. (I raised my younger brothers) I used to have to sleep with my wallet in my pillow case or sleep with my pants on and keep my wallet in my pocket.
I got tired of picking her up from jail and prison.
I got tired of her actions causing stress in my life.
I got tired of her costing me money.
I got tired of her embarrassing me.
I got tired of her lies and BS about finding God.
I got tired of her being an inconvenience.
I got tired of her stealing from me.

So I cut her out my life and I don't regret it.
She's not allowed to call, come to my house, or anything and she knows that.
Im doing very well in life, have a few nice things, and I'm STRESSED FREE.
She would of prevented those things or slowed down my progress.

When you finally get tired of it, you will be able to do the same easily.

Good luck and do what's best to protect your wife and little one. They can be affected/hurt indirectly because of her life style.

It got my old lady beyond pissed yesterday when she asked for money. Her mom has a job, took all of my old ladies sisters tax refund, already blew north of a 10k tax refund of her own, and to boot my old lady has a little brother (16) that her mom gets a healthy check every month from the government cause his dads dead.

Last night My old lady was like I just don't understand, where is all the money going. Cause Her mom goes through a serious chunk of money but yet has nothing to show for it. Drives an old 25 year old vehicle, lives in a trailer park, no new clothes no new this , no new that. She's putting it up her nose and down her throat..

She is in denial. But last night I can definitely see her come to fruition and start to realize it. You just don't go through that type of money and have nothing to show for it is what I was explaining to her. Her mom has been taking money from her since she has been 15.

The old lady sister is 21 years old. And has a 2 year old and is living at home with her. She is trying to get her life together and is working 6 days a week. But yet her mom basically took all of her tax refund money and takes partial check from her to say it's being used on bills. They have both been taken advantage of so long and their mom plays the sad song every time and they just never realized it.

Just to put icing on the cake her mom is newly remarried. The guy does not have a job and sits around and smokes pot all day long and drink Busch Light... Real fucking winner

Yeah, I just don't like the gun at all, the way it shoots or anything. My sig p320c is like the bees knees in comfort and feel for me. The m&p just doesn't do it for me. That hinged trigger drives me nuts. Local shop has a xdm Longslide and a canik tp9 or something that is pretty nice and comfy, gonna go for that. If anyone wants a fde mp full size, I have everything plus a 9mm conversion barrel

Dumb drivers that can't drive. I have had my camaro for the last 18 years. Driving down the freeway and traffic is stopped as a come over a hill. I brake and can see a car coming up on my bumper at a fast pace. So I pull on the shoulder of the road and come to a stop. I Glance up in my rear view mirror and the car that I seen coming up in my mirror fast that I pulled onto the shoulder to give more room to stop pulled onto the shoulder of the road to avoid. Has pulled onto the shoulder and rear ends me.

I was tring to be a defensive driving and the dumb ass driver not watching and braking when I got on the shoulder it gave that car an extra stopping space.

So know after 18 years of being accident free with my camaro. I sit hear wounder if the car is a total loss. I will take it in on. Monday to the body shop to see if there is extinsive damage and if it can be fixed.

I was supprized that it mover the tip of fender a little bit of the front clip and chipped the paint on the nose. I can not see any waves or wrinkles in the quarter. But it seems like the doors and finder and rear hatch are misaligned.

I know the person that hit me stated on the police report that he was going between 65 to 70 mph. It didn’t set off the air bags ijn I there car. I just can't believe how in the blink of an eye and I could loss the car that I have wanted since age of six and was the last car that my father and I worked on together before he passed away.
