People who say LS swap EVERYTHING. I was going to build a pretty stout 383 for my car but all I listened to was how the LS is pretty much god. I have nothing against them but fanboys have gotten on my nerves to the point I give up on the car scene in my area. It's bad when an amateur is calling a guy who has over 45 years of experience lazy because the professional told me to stick with my LT1. (there is more to that part but we won't go into it). I was also told to swap my 72 Ford F 100 when I start restoring that. Putting a LS in everything doesn't make it better. To me that's being lazy. Sorry to offend anyone that's just my personal opinion.

X in place of Christ is extremely offensive to believers. X represents the removal of something. Removing Christ from Christmas is pretty blatant stab at somone elses beliefs. If you take christ out then you must remove gift giving also since it represents the wise men giving Christ gifts. So if you dont believe in part you shouldn't take advantage of the rest. Or just call it what it is and believe what you want. I dont believe in Hanukkah but I dont change the name.

I don't know that I've ever heard someone actually say "x-mas". I was referring more to seeing it written as x-mas. A recent example discussed at work was a jimmy johns sandwich wrap sticker that read "merry x-mas". In the grand scheme of things, they could have opted for "happy holidays" or "thank you come again" but chose to recognize the Christmas holiday. The truth of it (in that situation) was "merry Christmas" wouldn't have fit on the sticker without the text being to small to read. Sometimes you have to look at the intention behind the gesture.

That's why they have so many accidents too. I set the cruise on 65, but it is 60 from home to work for me and I am on the road at 530. The state troopers on 64 like you to be 15-20 over, at 20 over it is "wreck less driving" here.

Let them get 1/64" of rain though and they want to drive 40 on the interstate and still have dozens of wrecks.

It's an 02 and it blew just before the rear rubber line like yours . I ordered the stainless classic tube lines today and the Russell braided stainless hoses I figured I would rather only have to do this once on this truck .

They all talk like they know the cause of all the problems with the company but they are not in or will ever be in any position to make a change. The fact that they have been employed for that long doesn't seem to matter. I am 40 this year and have worked for 3 places that went under and dissolved my business to work where I am now. I watched my 401k from my second job gain and then loose $400k. I watched my business go from $9M a year in sales for 5 years to me leaving and it going under in 6 months. I just went thru hell with my wife's situation. My oldest son almost died at 6 months old due to a lung infection. I ran my beloved camaro off the road racing one day... and other crap. Throughout all of this I always remembered it could be worse and that others do have it much worse than I. I just wish as a society we could just step back and be happy with what we have. Life is hard, not always fair, and what we make it. I just finally got to a point where I know I can't control it and to just enjoy the ride. I'm not here to make just myself happy, I am here to serve my friends and family.

Good insight. That puts things into perspective. I think of the car as an extension of myself. Im only going to make it better with time when I can afford to build it. Start from the bottom up and do it right. I can now see why people assume. 20 year old kid with an LT1 = cheap mods = slow. To them at least. Im doing the complete opposite, however as they say "haters gonna hate". Until they hear it start and the ol girl rumbles to life and shakes the earth around it...at least that's the plan :D

It does it to me. I've noticed its usually after I reopen tapatalk and it jumps right to ltxtech. If you back out of the app to the beginning to where you click to open ltxtech it will work again. I believe its logging you out after a period of inactivity.

I do that and it's the same. I just want tapa 2 back

When my ex and I broke up she took my damn dog and now almost 3 and a half years later she wants me to take my dog back because my dog doesn't get let outside enough at her apartment but if I take my dog back she wants to visit and at some point she wants to take my dog back , it's ridiculous . You know what really grinds my gears?

Assholes at the grocery store who walk down the middle of the freaking parking lot aisle and then give you an attitude when you call them on it.

So i turn in to one of the parking rows (not the main one since it has more traffic and i tend to go further towords the back of the lot so i don't deal with BS like this) and some woman is walking her 2 year old right down the middle of the damn isle. i start getting closer to her and she looks back and keeps walking down the middle. i get closer and she doesn't move, i finally say something like "hey, do you mind not walking down the middle of the isle?" (i had the top down in the mustang).

Well she gives me this attitude of "can't you see i have a 2 year old?" and just keeps walking. finally she gets to her car and gets out of the way and i go park a bunch of spots away. she is angry at this point and says "you need to wait for me! i have a kid! i take it you don't have kids!" to which i reply "Nope i don't. but if i did, i wouldn't walk them down the middle of the aisle like a dumbass! do you walk your kids in the middle of the street? how about this? next time I'll drive down the middle of the parked car section so you can walk in the middle of the driving section"

I actually stood by my car and waited for her stupid ass to leave the parking lot because she seemed like the kind of bitch who would key someone's car just because she thinks she's holier than thou.

Seriously, i hate stupid people.

Then to top it off, as i'm coming out of the store i get a phone call from an 866 number. i have no clue what it's for so i answer it...

"Hello? Is Britany there?"

"Nope, she's not here, and she's not been here for 8 years since i've had this number since 2006 and you're the 5th or 6th collections agency who's called looking for her. I don't know who she is, don't call me again."

Gave him a taste of is own medicine last night though, saved about 5 trees and made sure I didn't throw them, so he got them all. I think he knew at that point.

Haha, sorry. There's two ways tires make it on to the conveyor sorting system. Automatic via the overhead conveyor system, or in the case of some tire building machines that don't have access to the conveyor, tires are towed in on "tree's" that hold 16 tires each. These "tree's" must be manually thrown on to the entry conveyor to the tire painter machine. Not a big deal, but there's a technique and etiquette to it that I figured out almost immediately.

If it's busy, don't throw the trees.
If you throw trees, throw on BOTH painter conveyors so there's not other tires coming through and backing up while you're loading the painted tires on to racks.

Unfortunately, most guys (including the one I follow in the rotation) don't follow either of the above. They'll throw on one painter only which allows the other painter to keep churning tires out and really causes you a lot of catchup work as when a tree gets thrown, you're dedicated to racking those tires ASAP to clear out. The guy across from me never throws trees and I always get nailed pretty much every time I come back on rotation. So I figured out that if I intentionally sit on any tree's while I'm in the operating position, I go to the side that doesn't rack them but he is just coming back on rotation from break. So I worked it out with the guy following me that "Hey, I'm going to give so and so a taste of his own medicine." He wasn't too happy. But I think he got the idea.

We have friends that are young like us with similar aged children, and they say we are harsh to our daughter (3 years old) because we make her play outside, limit technology, tv, make her sit with us at dinner, go in timeout etc. yet they cannot figure out why their kid is Satans hell spawn and listens worse than the door.

Financially having a kid is extremely expensive, but being broke doesn't make you a bad parent. Being a bad parent does.

When non engineers write change notices against my prints and then just leave the form saying "Drawing to be updated" on my desk. Like come on, I don't want to decipher your mess of a report and then update things as well.

Its easy as hell to sketch out a schematic, little more difficult to do in SW. But, it all needs to be done yesterday and just cause they built product deviant of print, its my problem when inspection catches them.

Excuse me dick, your cubicle farm is overloaded, and im not freezing out 750+ other people in this building to ensure you are below 73 degrees at your 10 monitor 6 tower and two laptop desk. Ashrae and Osha state 68-78 degrees as acceptable in a office, you are at 74.5 with 55 degree air out of your diffuser, lay off the energy drinks and twinkies.

People dont realize they shouldnt be nasty or rude to the hvac guy. I can make your day at work a miserable, sweaty sticky or ice cold shivering day.

We have a shitty HVAC and the very end of the line (farthest from thermostat) is a room full of old guys... who like it warm. So their room at 73 is my room at a balmy 76-80.

I usually fight the thermostat all day, bouncing from 70 to 78 all day.
