Typhoons - bad ass trucks, but even more niche than LT1s, and way more expensive.

C4 ZR1s - Some of my favorite Corvettes ever built, incredible for their time. But some what pricey for the performance compared to a modern Corvette. I still love to look at them at cars and Coffee and talk to the owners.

I remember a couple years ago i was at us131 dragway and seen this very nice built twin turbo v6 typhoon (was the first one i've ever saw)... quiet as a mouse at the line and put the dang thing put it on the bumper

The Supra's aren't chumps, that was a common misconception 10 years ago, just not the case any more. E Kanoo from Saudi Arabia has an IRS Supra in the 7s and another non IRS in the 6s. Damn impressive since they use a factory cast block and head, the only thing that comes in faster with a factory block and head is a John Mevovitz's mod Ford which runs 6.19@235. Fastest LS1? 6.7@203, uses an LSX block and and TFS heads.

I've often thought about getting a LTX C4, but I just think I could get over the lack of interior room. Although it'd be a hell of a sleeper, I've never ran into a mean C4... EVER. A ZR1 would be tits.

There's been a couple down here, ones a 385" LT1, M6, Stock rear, car runs high 9s in the 14x range. You never saw people really breaking the manuals in them, I think the fastest any ones gone on the factory IRS is 8s? No one really builds them up but I think they are a great platform.

They def are tight on the inside... Esp if ur in tge 6'4"...270 range like myself.... I know mine is under powered....but ill tell u what...its a freakin BLAST to drive...esp being automatic..
