Known as "Ye Ole Pole Barn" and Located in the heart of the Brandon, FL sticks it has been a "No restrictions" party grounds for a few annual club parties.
Now what could be better than a bunch of F Body racers/ builders sitting around getting totally wasted and pouring out a wealth of information. an Open Fire, 40 deg weather, beautiful night sky. I sampled 12 different kinds of food and 2 different Rums and heard no Bullshit about ET's. Parking took quite a bit of the available 2 acres.
This year we started about 4pm, all we here by 7pm 35 or so, by midnight we were all still standing/staggering between about 3 differnt circles with 10 different subjects being discussed, A group doing shooters with the ole ra ra toast, the car with the best sound system was pulled close and became the Entertainmet center, and by 1am those of us left were huddled around the fire but few standing http://www.fbodyonline.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
by 3am I was falling over everything real or immagined and finally crashed.
We had picked on and razzed each other the entire night and will always remain best of friends. Not everybody can do that!!!!
We collected another $385 toward our Christmas Family Fund. We pick a needy Family each year from a list provided by the state to donate to. We buy store cert so we know the kids will have a great christmas and treat the family to dinner during the presentation
With the exception of a few this party pulled in the entire Statewide membership. Some drove over 3 hrs to make this event.
SCFBA members and a few Invited guests it is our only "closed" event.
