Looking for ABS info

I am trying to button up a few little issues on our 30th restoration. One of the issues that needed to be dealt with is the abs light.

I pulled the ABS codes and got c1242 which comes up (Rear ESB Does Not Hold Motor)

Any insight would be greatly appreciated....

Hey do you happen to need the traction control box that goes up underneath the dash on the driver side?

I think the TCS controller is ok. It functions normal when the ABS is working. After more research, it seams this code is normally diagnosed as a faulty ABS control/motor assembly on other GM platforms. I'm going to check all the related wiring before looking at replacing that unit. Especially since finding a four channel unit in a bone yard is near impossible.

Well you see I have a 4 channel but I'm not using the tcs I changed the tcs box to a non tcs box so if you know anyone or if your box goes out let me know I have mine that I'm not using
