Long day yesterday but it was a good one. This is the second track rental I've organized for the NJ F-body group and I think its safe to say it was a success. We had a lot of nice cars come out and even a couple vettes to mix things up. Most guys were running 10's with a couple really quick guys running 9's in street cars, rowing a 6 speed. I've been slowly working on my setup and while it's certainly not a track rat, I do like to take it down the drag strip at least once a year. I was one of two LT1 cars there. More seat time and tweaking will be needed. Below are some of the highlights including a few details for those unfamiliar with my car.

383 fully forged LT1, LE 21 deg heads, LE mild blower cam, LE stock ported intake (built in my garage)
F1A procharger, 15lbs of boost, touch over 700rwhp
Tick Lvl 3 Trans, McLeod ST Clutch, S60 rear
EFI Connection 24x LS PCM Conversion
Strange DA coilovers front, QA1 DA shocks rear, UMI chassis mount adj tq arm
"Race" weight was 4095lbs with me in it. She is a full weight vert for sure...plus some with the DD subframes and 6 point Wolfe bar. My big issue is simply getting out of the hole. I can work on the shifting a bit but that will get better with more seat time. Most runs were in the very low 11's, all over 131 mph and with a 1.85-1.95 60'. The car would either bog down to 1500rpm or spin if I was past 4k. Best of the day was a 10.8 @ 133 with a 1.72 60'. On the 10 sec run, it spun briefly and then hooked while at 3K rpm. I can't wait to see how this feels hooking up much higher in the rpm range. It's picking up 30mph in the last 1/8th so the car is making good power. I'm guessing there is a few more mph in it with a much better launch and a little quicker shifting.
