We stopped putting lights up outside a few years ago, too much aggravation. Were only putting a tree up this year, nothing else, usually we go all out.

I'm slightly annoyed by xmis, Xmas, and all that. It's Christmas people.

Not going to get into the religious end of it.. but CHRISTMAS refers to the belief in Christ, and although I do not have anything against anyone believing in anything... my understanding is the substitutions are for those who DONT quite believe in the same thing.....

So dont get annoyed, its just different perspectives and beliefs...

i always thought that also....

but im single and live alone, i dont decorate for holidays...but i do have "xmas" lights hanging around my house that i use for normal lighting...

X is the Greek letter for "chi", translated to Christ. Therefore Xmas.

Hoping to buy some icicle lights to do my house soon, they're so expensive.

Im in the middle of installing replacment windows and remodeling the living room so I dont think Ill have a tree or decorations this year lol

Atleast Ill be warm though....

We have our tree up but its now a charlie brown tree and leaning to the side. Our 13 y/o Chesapeake lab has canine cognitive disorder (Dog dementia) and decided he could crawl under the tree but forgot where he was and stood up. I was not pretty, ended up striping the set screws on the stand.

Yeah, it seems in most places pets and christmas dont mix (even my house).

We do alot of stuff. Gotta get back up tomorrow and redo a stand.
We do inside , outside , our palm trees, etc..

Ya can eve see the camaro up on jackstands in the garage.
