373 gears

i have a 1994 camaro do i have to retune for 373 gears? the 273 are not cutting it for me anymore.

spedo and shift points will be off if ya dont tune for it.

6 speeds didnt come with 2.73s. but damn think of the MPG it could get!

I had 2.73 once upon a time in my A4, switched to 3.73, really wakes the car up, but you will need to change those shift points. You could get a hand held programmer like hypertech and adjust speedo and shift points.

so do not change gears until i can get a tuned lined up?

i dont know anyone in my area that can tune it for me so it might be awhile until i do this then.

if all u r doin is gears then a hypertech will work just fine. look for a cheap used one

If all you are doing is changing gears, I could send you a reprogrammed pcm and just send me your old one back after you swap it. Just pay shipping and put a small deposit on it. If you want to do a "performance" tune there are some guys that will sell you a tuned pcm and you get a core charge refund after you send your old one back.
