Just had to pass my updated info.. Second time this year at the track and run my best of 11.32 at 118 with a 1.70 sixty. I haven't mad but 6 passes all year since the car was put together.. So I feel like its coming together pretty quickly.. I do need some advice on a gear setup though. I'm running a 3.23 gear with a 275/50-15 MT DR , which has been the best pass setu on just motor. However I was thinking of switching to a 3.73 with a 275/60 for the fact of running spray here soon.. What do you guys think would be the best setup to go with?

Setup details are full suspension minus adjustable rear shocks, th350 behind a 388. Car weight is unknown at the time.. I got to find a set of scales.. Thanks for the help in advance guys...

How tight can you turn it? FYI with a 3.73, 26" tall tire, 145 mph can be seen at 7000 rpm when in 1:1 trans gear. 135 is at a mere 6500 rpm. No point in jumping up in tire size from what I can see. Your sixty needs to improve though.

Thanks. I set my shift points around 6800 which seems to work pretty well. I'm thinking of trying the 26" tire with the 3.73 to see how it likes it. The 1.70 sixty is the best so far but its still spinning of the start with 20lbs in the DR.

Thanks man.. And they don't have scales. Some of the big events they bring some in sometimes..

Drop your air pressure to 17lbs. I was using the same m/t dr's when I was cutting high 1.5's. Trying bringing it up harder on the convertor.
