I started looking for a car for my sons friend and try as much as I have he simply does not like cars without chrome bumpers, I found this car on CL and he says in his ad it runs 10.80s and think hes smoking a controlled substance. look it over and see if you agree LOL.

Looks like a sweet ass ride! But I am calling MAJOR B.S on the track times. Take it for what it is, a cool ass 69 with LT1 power!

dam, only if i new a hot cam would run 10.8's.....

car looks good though, but if some one BS the track times, there where more then likely shortcuts taken during the build process...not worth 35k...

hes full of crap on the times.. it looks clean though!!! a hot cam only all steel 1st gen isnt running a 10.8...

My brother has one thats the same year only with a 10.5 to 1 468 in it with a 3k stall and 4.11s and he had a hard time with my 12.5 second 5.0 liter Mustang so there is NOOOO way this thing is 2 secs faster LOL

yeah, 12.8's might be a little more believable, certainly not 10.8's. I think your first assessment is correct, dude is high on something or just flat out lying.

Had the set up for my 69 Elcamino, too bad I had to sell before I got to drive it because it should have run deep in the 11s LOL

Very true and I think he wants too much money for the car and allthogh it is a nice ride I do not believe that he built it otherwise he would know how silly it sounds to say this thing runs 10s.
