so, a while back my check engine light came on, i hooked it up to a scan tool and it was reading a catalytic converter code, so, i took the cheap route and put some fake cats and o2 simulators on the car. light went off for a little bit and threw another code, now since i got the car i could tell it never really did idle right. so, i hooked it back up to a scan tool and saw it was running lean on banks 1 and 2, plus random misfire. so, i asked my dads friend who owns a shop, he said that he just had a car with those symptoms and it had a vacuum leak, so i gave it to him for a day and found that the EGR has been messed with before and whoever did it left out bolts, stripped some, and snapped one. well, the seal had gone out and the EGR was locked up so he put a new one on. the next day the check engine light came on again, so he hooked it back up to a scan tool and it was throwing another EGR code, at this point i'm like what the heck! it has a brand new one. so he messes with it for another day and was looking online and found out that if there is any tampering with the exhaust it can make it so there is not enough back pressure to operate the EGR. so now i guess i'm going to have to get my car tuned and get the EGR codes and operation deleted.

Before I got to the end, I was gonna say, just tune it all out.... problem solved.

put long tubes on it and delete it all. if tout got emissions just put it on before inspections.

plus it will save you a couple pounds. that's good for 2 tenths in ricer logic lol.

but ya like popo said tune it out.
