And back when my car was stock... I took it down the track... great launch... the adrenaline was pumping (heading for a solid 14 et...lo) 1st gear......... 2nd gear...................1st gear!!!!!!! DOH!

Taner- car is looking real good! Nice runs! Something I noticed on the roof video. Watch your hood gap at the cowl during the run. As the mph is going up and up, the hood is either lifting up at the cowl or being pushed down in the front. The gap grows a bit. Maybe air rushing under the hood lifting it, or air pushing on the front end real hard? Also, it amazes me that those damn suction cups on the GoPro's can hold them cameras under that strain, lol. I use mine on my friends cars here and there, and I always cringe on every pass thinking it's going to go flying off down the track, lol.

yes joelster i noticed that. i think it is the air pushing it up... or it is the tight seal, and the motor pulling so much air in that the hood is lifting, lol!!!!

unfortunately i didn't suction it down as tight as i should have, hence the wiggle of the camera.

well, the motor has always made excellent power, now i am able to stick it more consistently which makes the crew quite pleased.

now i just need to crank up the spray in 2nd gear :devil: i am not sure if i mentioned, that i had 1st gear and second the same soft ramp, in case i need to pedal the car. well now that it is working quite well i can go ahead and bring in 2nd gear like i do for 3rd & 4th gear... me excited!

i saw that pic on milans website. was that a soft landing? that is why i have wheelie bars. coming down usually is a costly adventure. hell i got half as high as that a few years ago and got lucky.. i damaged the oil pan slightly, and scraped the collectors. the Madman SYAB's did exactly as they were supposed to! but they are really a one time use thing, lol!!!

Taner hell no lol, broke the oil pan, trans pan and cracked the windshield... it touched the rear bumper and came down real hard.... car left dead straight and came down straight which was the only good thing lol, i'm just glad it didn't get squirly and put it into the wall... that is too bad, but well i am sure he knew there was the potential for that to happen. i am impressed if that is all that he broke. i am assuming all front shocks are still good? did anything else get bent in the suspension. as long as he is ok, that is all that matters.

Yeah that's all that broke.... Ya he is ok lol, He probably shit his pants though... I'm suprised it didn't screw up any suspension parts at all, just the pans..

Even more than that, it seems that the driveline in this thing seems to tolerate that for pass after pass these days. It must be more heavily built than Fort Knox.

I remember years back on CZ28 when this car first broke into the 9s. I used to watch the video over and over again to see that second gear wheelie.
