Due to my front tires bouncing off of a curb and sending my car onto the guardrail, my front end now makes a loud tick. So I decided maybe I should get new front shocks and outer tie rod ends since I need an alignment too. The control arms and everything looks fine. What kind of shocks should I get for the front?

If you want the best, go with a set of Koni shocks.
If you want a well performing budget shock, go with KYB AGX shocks.

As said above great street performance shock is Koni. If you plan on doing much drag racing KYB AGX is a good budget starter, or for a little more $ but better quality, single or double adjustable Strange or QA1.

R Series QA1's here, love them and well worth the money. Just make sure to get the 300lb springs at least if you have no front end weight reduction on a Lt car..

Not only would it affect handling but it would also affect braking.

97Z28 has the AGX shocks on stock springs I believe. I'll ask him to comment on them next time I run into him.
I don't like the prokit, so I can't suggest it. Are you gonna just run stock springs or ???

Yes I'm just using my stock springs and putting in the new shocks.
