I saw a Caprice today and that jogged my memory and I realized that I actually drove an LTX powered police car in training for the Kern County Sheriffs Department.
How awesome is that?

Back then we had a bunch of scumbags that came up from the LA area and they kept robbing our banks and hurting our people, well the law enforcement community decided to send LA a message that said go elsewhere if your gonna rob and kill our people because you wont live to get away.
To begin with some were outraged but after it happened a few times nobody had a problem with the coppers taking a stand and then we no longer had that kind of problem.
The kick your ass thing came not much longer after that and it turned in to a real nightmare for the admin of the SD, I thought it was funny as hell but not everybody else did unfortunately.
Personally I think it SHOULD be on the side of every cop car out (Respect for the Police) there because it is always better to get somebody to comply with a verbal command versus a forced and physical compliance situation.

The biggest reason that I wanted to wear a badge back in the day was just to be able to get away with speeding but I hear you because the cops here in Vallejo used to pull me over like crazy, I even got a ticket from the Chief of Police!

It sucks man. i went all 4 years in my army career without a ticket, and then i got back to nj and ive been getting tickets for stupid ass reasons.

and nj has this dumbass surcharge bullshit, so now even after going to court 4 times and getting stupid ass citations reduced to 2 point things, i have 10 points, and on top of the 1000 dollars in fines ive paid, i have to pay 250 dollars for 2 years to nj, because there fuckin cops think i deserve bullshit tickets. I dont even speed. A cop thought i took a turn fast in my mazdaspeed 6 and pulled me over. i ended up getting found guilty by dumbass judge bundy in rosselle park. I had to pay 375 dollars for that shit. I hate nj now

Yeah I have been out of work since Jan. 2011 and used to hear "I dont want to do this again in 3 weeks when somebody else offers you a job" all because I am overqualified for a job but now all I get is nothing at all and my unemployment ran out too. I am an ASE certified Master auto tech, Master medium/heavy truck tech I have worked on minibikes to giant forklifts and everything in between and I have even been a Machinist as well. I have been in the Management role for years now so my resume is long in the skill set section.
I applied for a job at the San Francisco airport as a Maintenance supervisor (a skill I have in spades) and got a response yesterday saying "thank you for applying but we are going with other candidates who better fit the position but rest assured that your application was carefully considered" I say this is bullshit and am so pissed that I actually wrote them back with a little thank you of my own that said "I understand how faceless HR department drones cut down the list of applicants by weeding out those who are unemployed due to laziness of personal and I hope you never have to face this yourself" yeah there seems to be a whole world of pricks out there. I just thank God that Mrs. Mad still has a job or else I would have to start knocking over liquor stores or something.

When I went thru the academy it was around the time when they were just going to a Glock .40cal and some deputy's still carried a revolver so I was allowed to use my 6 inch stainless steel .357 magnum like the one it the picture, and yes I am tall at 6ft2 like him LOL.
