I am going to sell my vintage H-Couf Superba I Soprano Sax. It was re-padded in the mid 90s and has been stored with pad saver for 20 years now. I played it a few times over the past 20 years and it still sounds great (i dont though.. LOL ) It has very little wear and still looks excellent. This is a top of the line Pro Grade Sax. I am asking $2400 but will entertain resonable offers I am selling to put the money into a good guitar for my oldest son. Top of the line professional model Superba I Soprano made by Keilwerth. It has a high F# key. The original lacquer is ornate and engraved with: " H. Couf Superba I Elkhart Ind. USA - made in West Germany exclusively for W.T. Armstrong Company by Julius Keilwerth Musical Instrument Factory." All these Instruments were built in Germany. The Superba 1 and 2 were Pro models and with exeptional quality of sound. Shown in the pictures as a medium sized scratch near the engraving on the back, some lacquer wear on a few of the keys, and some wear on the bell. Case, Mouthpiece, and Pad Saver included. Serial number is 89xxx and places the manufacturing time in the late 1970's to the early 1980's. I accept paypal only.

I hate to be the guy bumping his own FS thread, but I would really like to send my sax on to a better home soon. It didnt make reserve, like some thought, so I re-listed at my near minimum with a make offer feature. I woudl really like to get $2000 for the horn. I really dont have much wiggle room. I will be willing to end the ebay sale for an interested member here. I am located in Delaware and would even travel a bit to deliver or meet up to deliver the sax. I got to play it one last time at my 20th HS reunion. It is high time someone else can enjoy it. email is jaysz2893@hotmail.com
