I'm looking to find pin striping to match the rest of it. Here's pictures, know of anywhere that sells this style? The corner comes to a point. It's silver in the middle and black lines on the outside.

That's probably custom done. Maybe three pinstripes together. I've never seen one that comes to a point straight off the roll

Yeah, I think it is.

If I took the pinstriping off the entire car... would it destroy the paint?

No and its actually not hard to do usually anyways. I took pinstripe off my sisters truck with a rag and a solution of half water half alcohol and a drop of dawn in a squirt bottle. Hers was like a factory painted on one though. If it's the stick on kind a blow dryer and patience will be your friend. Probably have to wax or buff where it used to be because the paint won't have faded under the pinstripe.

Because in some areas, it looks like there used to be pinstriping there but it was painted over? I will get some better pictures tomorrow of that.

I will check it out when you post pics. Be nice if I could live next to everyone on this site and just help y'all in person lol its so much easier to give paint advice if I'm actually there lmao

Scratch that off with your finger nail. Should come off that way or use the blow dryer and get it hot before peeling it off. Should peel off and then buff. Looks almost like it was straight before and part came off if you notice the "ghost" line there. A good polish and wax will fix the line. Oh and use alcohol to remove the sticky residue that sometimes gets left behind.

Edit - just remembered that's what I was looking at lol sorry. That looks like to me they put the pinstripe on before the paint was cured and it indented the paint. Is it smooth or does it have an edge and if it has an edge is it raised or sunk in

It's raised, has a bump to it.

This makes me think the car was repainted before and that the passenger door shell (inside) is red and that door shuts hard. Also inside the trunk, theres green paint peeling and there is red paint behind it. All of this is on the passenger side. Oh ya, it also has spider cracking on the passenger quarter panel.... :disagree:

Is it in the drivers side as well?

No I don't think it is, but it could be behind the current pinstriping on it but I don't see it. In the first set of pictures (first post) is the driver side fender, it got broke in the accident and I have a new fender on the car now... thats why I'm looking for pinstriping hahaha

I wonder if it was sideswiped or something and they replaced those parts and didn't sand the pinstripe off. The new one can be taken off but that old one will have to be sanded out and repainted

Screw that, I'll just leave it on then.....

Any idea where I can get a replacement pinstriping for the driver fender?

I really have no idea on that. Maybe try a body shop or paint store to identify it.
