Mike V and I went down there last december and a bunch of other guys showed up.
This year we are planning it a little better and a bunch more people are going.


You seriously will run 2 or 3 tenths faster at this track then from your home track.
It is only about 6 hours from us in massachusetts/RI and i know a lot of you other guys are close to it. Check out the facebook event for more info.

Truthfully, I'm VERY tempted to put the rear spacers in the car and head out with the laptop and race tires on. I'd like to get the two step tuned in and see what happens (breakage......). But it's 2 hours of highway driving on E.T. Streets / Skinnies and if I break something at the track I'm screwed, especially with a move coming up now. Ugh.....decisions decisions.

What time is it opening anyway? Need to know how early to get up and out. Blah, and my car is filthy dirty too.

Ugh. If I'm even gonna think about running, I have to at the very least get the back end of my car up and center the rear, and possibly put the spring spacers in. And swap the drag wheels/tires on to it. If I get up at 6 AM and get right on it, I might be out of the house by 7:30. I told Larry I'm probably not goign to be there until about 10-11 given the drive and what I've got to do.

Or.....I just leave at 6-6:30 and hang out. Decisions decisions.

Sahara, I was working for frito-lay, what makes it even worse is I left a job I had been at for 13 years to work for them. Got a lot of empty promises from them only to be let go just 11 months after being hired. Shitty timing indeed with 3 kids and christmas breathing down our necks. Luckily for me though, my wife, the saint that she is, already had just about all the shopping done last month. Plus no credit card bills cuz we dont believe in them, with the exception of 1 we keep in case of emergency only. But, my head is up and my fingers are cramped from filling out applications for the past week straight. P.S. sorry, didnt mean to hi-jack this thread, which from the pics and vids looks like an awsome time!
