You typically need to pay google to stay on the front page IIRC

I wonder if we could pay them to remove "ltxtech down" from the auto finish suggestion box.

I used to work with google Ad-Words and the sponsored listings is what you pay for. What you do is bid for those spots with phrases like "lt1 optispark" for .05 of a cent each search, then you pay when the link is clicked. It is very in depth process and I would need to come up with thousands of phrases a day for it. But yes, we can pay to be on the first page. I dont think there would be that much competition to where it would have to get up to 1-10cents per search though

It will climb all by itself if it gets more popular. You need to add key words in the meta (i think that's what it's called). You can do that on the backside of the site that the admins have access to.

It's all about how many people are linking to the site, the meta keywords we use, etc. There's more to it than just paying. The more other websites that link to ours will cause the site to climb in search rankings.

And how do you officially "Link" to the site? Cause I'll do that right now from my Fastbird performance page. :D

You just add a "links" tab to your website so when people click on it they get here. Exactly the same as the sponsor tabs on the right side, except yours will be for free.

Yup. I added LTxTech's link in my signature on MiFBody so that's a crap ton of links right there..
